  1. Then I guess they lied to me lol
  2. But trust me, if you can get your car down to DT, it will be worth it. The price and quality of work that they do

    Got Defected!

So you definately sure that if they aren't TMU, they can't defect you??
  4. Well, I said what I said because LolWhut wanted something that "looks good" and IMO, 4 door skylines don't look all that great, that's why I said "it just doesn't look right". Yeah, skylines first started as an NA, but I've got nothing against an NA, even in my earlier post, I'd encourage him to get an NA, because NA is a great way to start to learn how to drive a sports car. And I've never once said anything close to ""A skyline should have a turbo, two doors and a manual, otherwise it's not a real skyline". I suggested him to get a manual because it is way more fun than a 4 speed triptronic, also he can get used to driving a manual as he will move onto a turbo at a later stage. Last thing, honestly, I really don't think P platers out there bought their skyline because of handling. Because there are many cars that can out handle a skyline. They buy them before they look good and it also makes em look cool driving it, also having the power to out run most other NA's out there.

    Got Defected!

I have a stock R33 muffler for sale
  6. Yeah, for the price that they charge, cannot complain
  7. spotted a white R34 sedan on nepean highway (mentone) at about 4:30pm, with custom number plate, but i couldnt see what it was (bad eye sight lol).
  8. Yeah, I crap myself everytime I see a cop (and no I'm not complaining lol), and I'm sure you don't wanna have to worry for another 2 years, so going NA is a good choice. Oh and buying a shit box and save for GTR isn't a very good idea, because you'll need to get used to the power of a RB, even if it's just an NA, because even an NA skyline is pretty powerful compare to all those other NA cars out there, so an NA skyline would be a good stepping stone. When I first got my NA R33, I thought I was a good enough driver to handle the power, but guess what, 2 days after I got it, I smashed it into a bus shelter lol. And I'm sure you will still have lots of fun driving a manual NA
  9. Lol, you shouldn't encourage people to break the law Just because you do it, and don't get caught, doesn't mean he won't. Yes, I'm on my P's too and I drive a GTT, but I'm not proud of breaking the law nor will I encourage others to do so. Well, when I got my policy from Just Car, I specifically asked them "if I'm on my P's and I drive a GTT, which is illegal, and if I have an accident, will I be covered" and the girl was like "of course you will be covered" and she said something about Just Car are there to insure young P plater driving imports lol.
  10. Did anyone spot me today? Driven like 200km today lol, someone must have spotted me Anyway spotted htial once again turning onto westal rd from heatherton rd at like 10:45am this morning. I turned onto it before you and I was going slow and thought you'd catch up, but you never did
  11. Oops, my bad
  12. Yeah, please don't get a 4 door auto NA R34. (No offence to anyone who has one). Skyline is a sports car and they shoulda never made them with extra 2 more doors, it just doesn't look right. As for auto, auto is cool and easy to drive, but you won't have as much fun as a manual. Hence why 4 door auto NA R34 are worth next to worthless lol. Coupe and manual is a must, especially if it's your first (good) car, because it's gonna be really memoriable for you My last car (first car) was a NA R33 manual and I was so excited when I first got it (imported from Japan), and even though I upgraded to a R34 GTT, yes, it's got a turbo and looks better, but for some reasons, it still doesn't feel as good as my old car (bit weird lol).
  13. Cancel it haha But just make sure you have all the information about the international license and make sure it can work before you cancel it lol
  14. Why don't you apply for an international license? So then you might not be on your P's afterall.
  15. Awesomeeeeee, hope I can get off work
  16. Well it depends on what you want. But if you want NA R33/34, then yea, will be easier to buy one locally, because there's so many of them here already. Importing is probably more expensive lol.
  17. Then you might not be insured if anything happens while you are driving it?
  18. Yea, 24th Oct saturday. From Doncaster to Sunhine to Epping or something like that lol.
  19. Well, I've never been pulled over, so I guess it's just how you drive it. Driven next to, behind, in front, opposit of cops. Yes, private seller will save you a few grand But as for insurance..... lol.... You shoulda researched before deciding to get a skyline.... As far as I know, there are only 3 insurance companies that will insure a skyline, as others don't do imports. But it doesn't matter who's name it is under, because they will charge you by the youngest driver.... The 3 companies are, Just Car, Shannon, Famous. Shannon don't insure people under 25. So that leaves you Just Car and Famous. Belief it or not, they charge pretty much the same price lol, maybe a couple of dollars different. For a P plater to insure a skyline = lots of money. Full comp = 3k or so, 3rd party fire & thief is about 650. But with Just Car, they recently changed their pricing, if you choose your excess to be like $1600, then you only have to pay about $1700 premium But it's probably best to look into it before you buy the car
  20. Are you coming to the official cruise next saturday? I've seen your car so many times on the streets, but I've never seen it close up, I wanna see it
  21. LOL @ you both xD
  22. Whats B&E? lol
  23. Oh? I've seen LOADS of people trying to get rid of their NA R34, even my mate is trying to sell his for 14k lol. Have you been looking private sales or from car yards? Sometimes is better if you look at private sales, it's a lot cheaper than from a car yard, but just make sure you spend a little bit of extra money to get the car checked out by a good mechanic before you buy it. GTT and GT cost nearly the same because of the P plate law Coz lots of P platers wants R34 but can only drive NA lol. I'm on my P's too shhhhh...... I first bought a NA R33 when I got my P's, then 1.5years later, I just upgraded to this But I'm not encouraging you to lol, so don't take me the wrong way
  24. Oh crap, my bad! How is that going? lol. Apparently you can gain more kw by using stock airbox + good filter than a pod
  25. Don't mean to shatter ur excitment, but 20k for a NA R34.....that's a bit over the top.... For 20k, you can buy a decent GTT lol, as I got my GTT for 17k. I think you should wait it out, until you find a good and cheap one, they should be around 14-16k.
