  2. Oh really?? The GTR? Is it recovered?
  3. Is the RainX Repel any good?
  4. It's getting closer and closer to my area o.O
  5. Oh, it's not I'm too lazy lol, I know there's heaps of cheap ones but I've seen some Bosch ones for like $60 a pair? So I was just wondering if the cheap blades are as good as the flat ones? Or are the Bosch overrated?
  6. I'm trying to find myself a set of wiper blades, anyone have any recommendations?
  7. ADDED: R34 GTT Manual Speedo Cluster - $180 Not sure about the K's on it, will have to plug it into my car to test it when I get some time. Pretty good condition. R34 GTT Triple Gauge Cluster - $150 The surround has a few marks but it's in good condition overall. R34 GTR Speedo Cluster - $350 Not sure about the K's on it, but I've been told it's around 20,000. R34 GTT Power FC with Hand Controller - $1370 Bought it for my car as an impulse buy, and have changed my mind since.
  8. bump..
  9. Wow.... 15L/100km.... Maybe you should get your o2 sensor checked out lol. In my stockish GTT, I'm getting about 12-13L/100km...
  10. Well.. Because R34's have been depreciating a lot in the last year or so, I don't think it will be much cheaper (if cheaper at all) to import one. And to import, you are putting all your money and trust into an importer, as they will be the only people that will have access to the car in Japan and only they can check it out for you, you can't do that yourself. Tiptronic coupes can be as cheap as 10k, while manual coupes will be a couple of thousand more. But at the end of the day, make sure you get the car checked out by a well skyline-educated mechanic before you buy it... Or else you could end up with a lemon.
  11. I drive a yellow R34 too, and my average is none in the 2 years of owning it. It just depends on where and when you drive and most importantly, how you drive it. OR as some will say, I've been lucky.
  12. They do sell it for cheaper..... I said Holfords / Japwarehouse because the dude is in Melbourne, so there wouldn't be freight You 100% sure they are the copies?.... Because they look like 100% genuine lol. - has the Bride logo on the frame - has the Bride logo on recliner knob - doesn't have the 3 plastic clips underneth the recliner knob (as far as I know, all copies have the 3 clips). If they are copies, then they look probably 99.9% like the real thing. Oh and in the pics, it has a kelvar backing, not carbon fibre?...

  14. Cheers If I was to have a baby, I'd keep my R34! R34's aren't that expensive anymore. Depending on what you want, 2 or 4 door, manual or auto. An auto sedan is like 8-10k, where as a manual coupe is anywhere between 12-15k Not sure where you are, but if you are in Melb, I can definitely suggest places for you to check out / drive some R34's. But for a Skyline... It has to be a coupe
  15. Being identical meaning the support and comfort too? or just looks and logos Maybe I haven't been in the better copy yet but I'm very happy with mine haha.
  16. Welcome to SAU - Can they fit a baby seat? I'm pretty sure they can all fit a baby seat, also they have baby restraint added during compliance (when it landed in Aus from Jap) - and if so is it a comfortable fit for a toddler in a forward facing seat? I wouldn't see why it would be any difference to any other cars? lol. But might be a hassle getting the baby in and out (2 door) - I've heard that sometimes its better to import skylines directely from Japan, what are peoples thoughts on this. Yes and no. Yes - it might be in better condition and has less K's (could be wound back) No - it's not worth importing a R34 GT/GTT from Japan, because there are so many here in Aus, so many to choose from, it's not worth spending extra money just to import one for the sake of importing one. I'm pretty sure there are a few good ones out there. Or better yet, pay a little more and go to an importer that's already have imported it, that way you get to see it in person before buying. - also whats the average price range for an import? Not sure the price on the car but shipping from Japan, compliance, importer service fees etc could be about 7-10k. Although the car itself could be 5k+ (not too sure).
  17. Dude... for $440 + price seat, you can definitely pick up a pair from a supplier in Melbourne.... Holfords Motors or Jap Warehouse? The seats itself is cheap, but it's the shipping costs that makes it more expensive... But all in all, I have one of those myself, not sure who made it, but I know that on mine, theres only a bride tag on the side, theres no bride stamp on the frame or knob or anything of those things that makes it look even more genuine. And it seems to be awesome lol, holds me well, does everything I expected. Oh and I've heard the ones from Taiwan is better lol.
  18. Well I can't afford to spend 2-4k on parts then spend another 1k on paint on a GTR front end That's why I got a East Bear bonnet lip like this, because it gives the GTT front bar a grill:
  19. Hmmm... I've been told I need to unjoin the top part and the support, then cut the support, then fold the top over.... So it's not like a straight forward process.. :S I wish it was tho..
  20. It went to me xD Where and how much did you get your GTR bonnet for John?
  21. Hi guys, Can someone help me find out the part number of the R34 rear fog light loom? Or tell me where I could buy some? Cheers
