  1. What about upgrading to a R34 steering wheel? Something like this: I've got one for sale including airbag if you are interested.
  2. After a few of trying to restore my steering wheel with the restoration kit. Here's the result, very happy with it: This is what it looks like when I first bought it After cleaning and oiling it, then finished off with a light sand. Re-dyed and re-clear coated it.
  3. So how much is the RRP? EDIT: Never mind, I found it. It's $286+postage.
  4. Hmmm... It was the one on the same side of the road, but a bit further up, kinda in the corner?... Indian food can never be more authentic than seeing a restaurant FILLED with Indians at 12am in the morning lol. That place opens til late everynight, its awesome!
  5. I made my Saturday free =.= SMS me, we'll work something out
  6. Yeah Mick, I've gotten a quote from Trent. $850 drive in drive out Inc board. Or $50 install and $650 for tune. So that's why I wanna sell my board then just get the full package. If I use my board, I'll be paying $700. Or if I sell it for $250-300, I only have to add $550-600
  7. Thanks!! After that, all the paint should be off right?
  8. Haha, yeah that was me Was going to get some curry up the road xD That Indian restaurant is probably one of the best I've ever been to lol
  9. Well I was always going to go to Trent, but I just didn't know whether he actually install himself or he sends it off to someone to do it. Because I've received a NIStune chip in return for a job I did for someone So yes, I will be going to Trent's. Am even thinking to sell my NIStune, then get Trent to do it all at once, as it works out to be cheaper lol.
  10. Hey guys, I sprayed my intercooler black about a year ago, over time, stones has chipped the crap out of it. So I just wanna know the best way to strip the paint off the cooler Cheers!
  11. Awesome, I'll give him a call. That way, he can install plus tune it
  12. Does anyone know a NIStune installer? Not a tuner but someone that actually installs them? Does Trent install them? Or does he only tune them? Cheers
  13. Cheers I'm pretty sure it would be legal.... Because it's a factory item.... And plus, I though the only reason why after market spoiler isn't legal, is when they stick out further than the width of your car? Because apparently it can hurt someone when you hit them with your car lol Here's a pic of it from behind:
  14. Excited! Will there be any twisties? Is it gonna be something like the midnight cruise 2 years ago?
  15. I've sanded back and re-dyed my cracked/cardboard hard factory momo yesterday, and I must say... That kit has done an amazing job, cannot believe how good it has turned out. Now I just gotta wait a bit more before I can clear coat it. But I'll be posting up photos when it's done
  16. Look on Carsales dude lol. But I reckon between 12-15k should get you one....
  17. Yes... GTT does come in 4 door... Pretty commom too. But manual ones are harder to find.
  18. Anyone is welcome
  19. From personal experience, I'd recommend DT panels. The quality for the price you pay is really good. Vu will do whatever you ask him, you could ask for a cheap job or you could pay him a little more for a even better job.
  20. Just make sure you do enough research before buying a skyline, since you don't know too much about it. Regarding insurance and what's legal and what's not etc etc
  21. Really impressed with that company Jenna has mentioned. I ordered and paid for the kit on Thursday afternoon at about 1pm. It arrived in the mail on Friday. I'm gonna give it a go now on the momo, will post up results later.
  22. Just a quick update... No, I haven't had time to check it out or fix anything. BUT, my boost is slowly creeping up.... Now it creeps up to about 0.85 bar of boost and I don't even have a boost controller in the car....
  23. There's one on sale on SAU (for sale section) I believe. As for other places, maybe wreckers, private sales or from Japan. As for "it has everything". To be honest with you, I think the MFD is overrate lol, if I have a choice now, I wouldn't have bought one, would rather spend that money elsewhere. But I guess the MFD would raise my resale price if I was to sell my car. As for wiring. You will need to splice into your ECU harness, triple gauage harness, speedo cluster harness. There's probably about 10-12 wires you need to locate and splice into. But I do see your project being a more difficult job. Because with stock GTT's, they come with the triple gauage cluster, which is hooked up to the boost, and oil temp. Which a NA GT wouldn't have (the triple gauage & harness). That would mean that you'd have to locate those things yourself and splice into it. Because if I remember right, the MFD splices into 3-4 wires in the triple gauage harness. I honestly reckon you shouldn't do all that to a NA R34. If you are on your P's and restricted to a NA, then you should just keep the NA until you are off your P's, then sell it and buy a GTT. Because the price difference between the GT and GTT is barely anything. And that way, you wouldn't have to muck around with upgrading all the brakes and stuff. It will also be a cheaper way to go.
