  1. Bayside blue is rare because it is only available on series 2. So if you see a bayside blue on a series 1 R34, then it's not factory
  2. That is a GTR spoiler but it's got lower wing stays, compare to the stock GTR wing stays.
  3. I would also like to see some pics
  4. Awesome! Thanks for posting up those places, since my intercooler joiners are slowly scraping away.
  5. What a job... lol
  6. Isn't that's exactly what I said?......
  7. Hi mate, I'm after NEO engine cover and triple gauage cover. Can you please give me a price posted to Melbourne 3195. Cheers
  8. Love that Z-tune.....
  9. Where did you get done this time?...
  10. Red is power, black is earth? So plug that red one into your existing power from the original H1 globe, then earth your black one somewhere... There's like a metal bracket around the globe adaptor where you can mount the black wire.
  11. The ones you are talking about are for coupes... So there's only 2 strips. (Where as sedan has 4/6 pillars)
  12. First of all, the vinyl you bought, is for a coupe? Since there's only 2 strips? But it is the right stuff, 3M DI-NOC CA-421. You just need more of it, to wrap all 6 pillars. As for doing the pillars, they are NOT like the coupe pillars, they do not come off... So you'd have to do it while it's on the car. I've done a few down in Melbourne. And it might look simple but it time consuming. Because if you want a clean finish, you'd have to remove the window seals, so you can actually tuck the vinyl behind the pillar, so you won't see ANY edges. That goes for the back pillars too. Even after doing a few, it still takes me 1.5-2hours to do all 6. Here's a couple of pics. PM if anyone need some vinyl
  13. I think I was told that the owner of that GTR owns a performance workshop or an import place?

Errrr.... I thought the only difference between H1 and D2R is the mounting bracket.... I think they installed a H1 bracket over the existing D2R bracket during compliance, so if you can take the H1 bracket out, you should have the factory D2R bracket? And as for cutting holes.... You'd have to do it either way, for H1 or D2R, because the ballast is going to be outside of the headlight, so you will need a hole for the wires to run from ballast (outside) to the globes (inside).

Hmmm... You might be able to achieve that with a D2R kit? As the reflectors in your headlights are made for D2R, not H1 (which is mine).

Lol.... There are D2R kits.... Even with my H1 HID kit, the seller could get me a set of D2R globes for it, but too bad they don't fit anymore. Anyway, as for the first kit that you showed, they aren't actual Philips kit.... They just supposedly uses Philips globes. Because with Philips kit, you are looking at like $350-400.

Nah I haven't lol, coz I don't drive around on the highest setting I keep it 2nd from lowest, so it's not that bad at all. I think I can still adjust the actual light itself to make em point down even more, haven't had time to play with it ever since installed. But as for kit, I think you shouldn't splash so much money on one kit, because there are so many kits available now, and they are around $70-90 and for the price you pay for Philips, you could buy like 3-4 of them over a few years

Hmmm.... Not sure if the pic can demonstrate what the 4 adjustable levels can do, but the difference between lowest and highest while on the road is about 30-40m. Lowest Highest

Here's some pics. The second picture represents the colour of light best. EDIT: I'll get a quick pic of the light against a wall on low and high setting for you guys. Gimme few mins.

If you could take the compliance adaptor out, then of course D2R, but for me, they somehow stuck the adaptor on permanently, so..... But when it gets darker, I'll go out and take a pic for you.

Well.... I've got 35w 6000k in mine. Looks pretty white. But all in all, ANY aftermarket HID kits are illegal, as they aren't self-adjustable. So I can if you put a set of 12000k, you will get more attention than 5-6000k. And you can get done for em, just because some haven't, doesn't you won't lol. But at the end of the day, it is pretty easy to disconnect and plug your normal globe back in. The difference between 5000k and 6000k is not that noticable, but difference between 5-6000k and 8000k is pretty noticable. As for voltage, you wouldn't need the 55w kit, 35w is bright enough. More power it uses, the hotter it gets, and you wouldn't want to melt your headlights And if you want, I can get you a pic tomorrow night.

I have H1 HID's in my 34, but apparently D2R globes are better, because the reflectors were designed for the D2R lights, so with H1, your lights would be scattered. But for some reasons, there was already a hole in my caps, but it could just be the previous owner.
