To reply to your question, what you were meant to do was actually cut a big hole on cap, so you can fit all your wires and stuff through. Not sure about your HID kit, but mine came with a litte rubber plug, that plugs into that big hole that you'd cut, so nothing can get into the headlight. If your HID kit didn't come with the rubber plug, then I guess use some sort of tape or something.

Ahhhh Friday night.... I'm not free tomorrow night Maybe we can get some weeknight sessions going? My mate and I were just bored at night, and at like 11:30, we just decided to go for a session lol, Rex was cool enough to stay up and let us have a session.

Sorry guys, I just tried checking another car with the same multimeter and it seems like it's reading high as well, so just ignore the 20v readings. But all in all, the voltage shouldn't just drop about 0.8v when I indicate anyway, should it? I was thinking it is something with my alternator as well, because the lights flickers more when I'm in idle.

Hmmm.... I think I had it on the right settings lol, I'll do another check. But nah, it happens when I indicate left, right and hazard lights too.

For some reasons, when I'm driving at night (with my parkers & HIDs on), my parkers/HID/dash/gauages lights just flickers when I'm indicating. And my voltage meter in my R34 just jumps up and down. Anyone know why?.... I did a test on my battery with a multimeter. When car is off: 17.3v When car is on: 20.8v When my driving lights are on: 20.8 When I indicate with driving lights on: 20.0v Not sure why the readings are so high, as I've been told the voltage should be around 12-14v. And the reading on the multimeter is different to the voltage gauage I have in the car. Any help on this would be awesome!
