  1. Hey guys, Recently, I've notice the door lock on the driver's and passenger's side is slow dying, so now when I try to lock/unlock my door via immobiliser remote, the lock just doesn't respond. And on inside, the door locking thing on the door handle doesn't flick open/close anymore. I think I had similar problems with my old R33 and last time the guy told me that the connection to the door locking motor was loose or something. So if anyone wants to help me with this, I'm more than happy to buy you a slab or give you cash
  2. Looking at CR34M right now Maybe I'll see you around Josh

    Tyre Stretch

Would it look odd stretching the tyres? Because I'm thinking to do the same thing.

  5. Only if I knew you guys were at Southland, woulda came and said hi
  6. It was errrr..... HIM! ===> But I spotted your car tho xD
  7. You've been pretty unlucky with cops.... 16+ times And Just because you are getting off your P's and drive a turbo, it doesn't mean they won't puill you over another 15 times and defect you 15 times
  8. Oops...... You know... "Ninja man" has some quick defensive skills haha
  9. Too slow = fail too
  10. Nothing's wrong with having a NA I did import my own R33 GTS when I first got my P's... So you can't say I didn't try lol, unlike some other people out there. FYI, I paid for my own cars, parents didn't splash anything at all, only thing they splashed was words to tell me not to get a Skyline lol But back onto topic, I mean if one were to buy a turbo Skyline and drive it on their P's, it's their choice, they should know the penalty if caught and should definitely cop it on the chin, so trying to find a legal excuses to apply for exemption to drive an illegal car is just silly, because VicRoads isn't stupid.... And for those who did get an exemption for driving a turbo Skyline on P's, well good on you. But for those who are trying to find an excuse, then good luck.
  11. Yeah, that's the way that I do it, but the thing is... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (depending on surface and cut). So I never join anything lol, 1 piece ftw.
  12. But maybe 90% of the people that applied actually had legit reasons, and the other 10% are import drivers
  13. I'm pretty sure DT has a spray booth / oven. And if you want to see the quality of their work, Daniel's R34 GTT with full East Bear kit will be a good example, think it was sprayed 4 years ago and with the proper love and care, til now, the car is in immac condition If you are willing to pay more for a even more awesome job, then try MiColour, lots of people recommends them. Give Mick a call. EDIT: Here's a link to Daniel's R34, it's one of the best GTT you will see around. Click here.
  14. But didn't you post up on FireSport that the reason why you are selling your car is that you lost your license while driving your r34 to work one day? Because you are on your P's?
  15. Crap, gotta bail out guys, sorry. Just found out I won tickets from Fox FM to watch the soccer (Germany vs Australia) tomorrow morning live at Harvey Norman in 3D :S
  16. Sorry man, don't know what you've read, but I've edited my last post Quoting what VicRoads says, instead of what I thought lol
  17. Requirements to register a light vehicle The registration requirements for a light vehicle are: * you must be over 17 years of age to register a car or truck or 17 years and 9 months of age for a motorcycle or motor trike * you can only register a vehicle in the name of a person or incorporated body (see: Who can register a vehicle) * you must attend an appointment at VicRoads * you may need to attend a vehicle inspection at VicRoads (if the vehicle has previously been registered in your name and the vehicle details have not changed, you do not need to attend a vehicle inspection) * you must pay registration and number plate fees. Make an appointment To make a registration appointment: * call us on 13 11 71 (Visa or MasterCard payments only) * visit a VicRoads Customer Service Centre (cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard) When making an appointment you will need to tell us the: * vehicle identification number (VIN) * engine number * registration plate number (if applicable) The appointment and vehicle inspection The safest way to legally drive an unregistered vehicle to your appointment is with an Unregistered Vehicle Permit (UVP). What to bring to the appointment * the vehicle (if an inspection is required) * evidence of identity * evidence of ownership (contract of sale/receipt showing the VIN; engine number; name, address and signature of previous owner; name and address of the new owner). A transfer of registration document is not accepted. * a current Certificate of Roadworthiness * if someone else is attending the appointment on your behalf, they will need a signed letter of authority from you that quotes your Victorian licence number.
  18. Don't even know why people still think these operations are being ran to keep the road toll down, it is purely just for raising revenue. For example: $120 for not changing an address
  19. Lol, good guess
  20. Because it was the weather
  21. I reckon it would be an awesome cruise, but it will take me 900km before I'll even get to the meeting point lol :S
  22. Yeah, after having Trapstar on my iPhone for like a month, with push notifications, I ended up turning it off, coz it was sucking up too much of my battery. I mean the app is good and useful and all, but I'd rather having more batterylife then having fake Trapstar reports coming through every 5mins lol.
  23. Is he good with labour prices?
