  1. Hey guys, We've been putting together a SAU-Vic newsletter for some time now, the next issue will be the "2009 Wrap-Up". After that, we'll be making a official newsletter every 2 month. As the designer of it, I decided to get you guys to be involved, and let you guys to have the opportunity to have your photos in the newsletter. I'll be needing 5 photos for every issue for the newsletter. Photos will have to be SAU related, whether it was taken during an event or meeting or just a nice shot of your car For this issue, I'll need 5 photos that was taken in 2009. You can either upload the photos here or PM them to me Cheers!
  2. Yup, expect to have many little kiddies calling you up to question about your car lol. As I realised when I was selling my car, most of them are just talks.
  3. You've gotta understand that NA's have held their prices pretty well, due to the turbo law. Just because they can buy a turbo for the same price doesn't they will/can. I could have easily bought a turbo for my first car, but my parents wouldn't let me lol, so I imported an NA 33 for about 13k on the road, despite the money spent, I was totally happy with the car
  4. Yeah, I reckon if it's genuinely nice and neat, you shouldn't have a problem selling it at all. I've realised that a lot of kids these days spends a fair bit of money on their first car, whether it's their parents or their own money lol. It just seems like 10-12k for a first car is nothing
  5. Well yeah, I reckon the first one sounds more geniune than the ebay one lol. At least even if you are buying a copy, it's made out of alloy, which is better than fibreglass (ebay).
  6. It does sound good and efficient, but there are people out there that are unwilling to pay for a brand new part lol and they can't be bothered selling their old part xD But all in all, it's a good method to handle it. I don't do it nor thought about doing it because I'm only doing it as a hobby lol, not gonna invest loads of money into it And +1 for not being a 5min job. A lot of the jobs that I do, takes about a week, due to the process I go through to ensure everything is perfect.
  7. Yeah, I got lucky lol. Within 2 weeks of putting the car up, this guy came and checked the car, had a few mates with him, checked the engine bay, poked a few things here and there, spent a couple of mins looking at the pod and he just decided to buy it lol. He didn't even take it for a test drive, but I offered Also, he didn't even try to bargain LOL But in all fairness, it was in an awesome condition haha
  8. Supporting mods are listed below: Turbo whistler Intercooler style air filter Shopping list + custom vinyl (Yes it's a R33, but you get the idea )
  9. +1 to be lucky to get 10k if it's series 2. I sold my manual NA R33 series 2 with 85,000km 8 months ago for 12.7k. EDIT: Actually, ignore the series 2 bits, I saw the info under your name, it's a 1993 GTS, so it's series 1. So you'd be aiming at 7-8k.... Even though the K's are low.
  10. Hey hey.... They aren't for my car lol It's for a R34 GTR But yes, feel free to give me a call to discuss about your wipers hehehe You still can Thanks for the kind comments guys Comments like that is what keeps me wanting to wrap more (not just for myself, but others lol)
  11. That's definitely a copy
  12. Thanks Patrick Here's a R33 interior that I wrapped: If you have any questions, you can email me, my email address is in the photos.
  13. Here's a set of R34 wipers (front + back)
  14. I wish I can see em in real life, as I too realised photos wouldn't show how good they look in person
  15. +1 I drive around in my mum's Toyota Starlet, 7L/100km is good enough for me
  16. Spotted a custom blue R33 with SAU stickers turning onto South Gippsland Highway from Princess Highway at 9:15am this morning
  17. +1 for PM. Also +1 on private shoot. Nothing beats a unique location. Having a group shoot is good, because it's cheap but then everyone else will have the same background and feel and composition as you.
  18. LOL @ all those comments on Adam
  19. 250km per tank would actually = 26L/100km, as the R33 tank is 65L. When you mean per tank, do you mean when the light comes on? or when the needle hits E? Because if the light comes on, you still have 10-15L left in the tank....
  20. What if you build a scarecrow and put it onto your sunroof? lol
  21. Then yeah, it's fair enough, spend some money on getting it done properly
  22. Here's a R34 GTR spoiler that I did: Will get a photo of the blade on the car when I see my customer next.
  23. Hi mate, Can you send me a sms on 0434 502 855 and I'll reply with a quote. Cheers
  24. Thanks for the bump lol, anyone have any photos?? You could have your name in a official SAU Vic newsletter lol
  25. I've heard stories that a cop was having a bad day, so he decided to give out 3 points + fine PER plate...
