Its a little hard to explain. Its a bit of custom electronics work that would need to be mounted inside say a stainless steel case or something of the like. I am trying to gauage how much room roughly I would have to play with and whether it would all fit. Is that ~40mm extra on top of say 6 inches or so for a head deck? Just trying to make sure. -Alex

surreal, you are probably right mate. I was just using the word din to explain it... as there is no normal standard for depth. But, I am still interested to know if anyone does know roughly/exact how much depth there is to the din slots in an r33... like how far back does it actually go and how much can i fit in there? G'day guys. Just a question about the amount of space available in the double din area on an r33 dash. I think that roughly a din is about 7" x 6" x 2" in size so would that make the amount of space available in the double section 7" x 6" x 2"? Or is there extra space at the back or around the sides? In other words does anyone know exactly/roughly how much space is available in the double din section below the A/C controls? Cheers! -Alex

When you say that you can haggle with him over price, would you think that you could possibly haggle with him over the price of new badges or more so for used badges if he does in fact have any. jetgts, Mate would it be possible to obtain any badges to replace the ones prized off mine (That is if any person who is buying the panel did not want the pannel complete, I can understand if they would). Ie. Front S, Side GTs and the Boot badge that covers the barrel. The other thing was that if the headlight covers were clear (as in not that opaque colour that has happened to mine) and could be taken off in one piece then I would be very interested. sven laptop, Mate whats with everyone flogging badges off nice cars in Melbourne. I kid you not its happened to so many people that I have spoken to down here. It happens in Brisbane and everywhere else... it just seems that every poor bastard down here has a story to tell about they pride and joy being pilaged. At least I know how you feel mate... I am suprised that we just can't buy our badges back of these bastards at some swap meet at a heavily discounted price to what they would normally retail for. Anyhow mate... thats my little rant. I was trying to see if anyone had or could point me in the direction of where to find any badges for an R33 GTST. What I am looking for is a complete set (Front S, Side GT badges and the boot badge), as someone recently made off with every one of them on my R33. If anyone has any available, or could spare any, or point me in the direction of where to obtain some that would be sensational. Cheers guys! -Alex

Cheers guys! I'll have to look into if anyone dismantling an R33 could spare the badges at a reasonable price. I saw that the replacement badge for the book came with the lock barrell as well.... unbeliveable that they were asking $190. Once again cheers guys! -Alex

Sorry guys but I tried a search for this on this board, on the SDU board and through a couple of search engines... so I just wanted to get that out of the way before any flames me if this has been said before. The story is that some (Insert a couple of nice words in here) flogged off my r33 gtst the 4 badges ie. the front S badge, boot lock badge, and the side GT badges. The problem I am having is trying to find some replacements that are not to expensive. Can anyone point me in the exact direction of where to find these babies??? Cheers guys! -Alex
