Whatever possessed you to make such a stupid statement is beyond me. So, you find it logical that if someone gets ripped of a small amount of money he should not make a complaint? Wasn't disagreeing with you. I was making an observation and further extending a train of thought. If NissanFreak is using a certain tuner it is advisable to use the unit he/she recommends/ has the most experience with. (IMPO and others) R31Nismoid, I'll give you an example. I heard a reputable tuner say this first hand; he stated "you should not use a PFC with AFM on high mount twins". He gave good reasons why. But we all know there are plenty of GTR's around the world using the PFC unit (with AFM's) with high mount twin set ups. Personally, I don't believe you can turn around and tell that tuner he is wrong. In his years of experience for a twin high mount set up he recommends a motec or autronic unit using MAP sensor. *Just an example used has nothing to do with this thread. Just pointing out that differing opinions are not always incorrect*

Hi everyone! Today, in deep conversation about GTR performance with one of my friends the topic of thermo fans came up. I was under the impression that thermo fans were far better than using the standard radiator fans. The justification of this opinion was the fact that using the standard fan sapped a bit of power (how much KW loss I am unsure). My question to everyone out there is; Are thermo fans a worthwhile upgrade? Or will the standard fan suffice? Those of you who are running thermo fans I would like to hear your opinions. Thanking everyone in advance.

Choosing a management system, I believe depends on who is going to be tuning your car. You could buy the best management system in the world but if your tuner has no idea about the system there is not much point. It all comes down to which system your tuner is most experienced and comfortable with. Adam

Far as I am aware it is the blitz kit! If memory serves me correct there is a Blitz marking on the wastegates. However I am unsure about the turbo. I will check first thing in the morning. This is the non ball bearing version. Not sure at all! Yes, the turbo mounts on to a t3 flange.

If you go through an authorized dealer of Autronic or Motec you DO NOT HAVE these, as you put it "niggles". Autronic dealers such as Beninca Motors have to comply to stringent guidelines set by Autronic. Since when was this post about Power FC? Ookami was asking about people experience with the Autronic system NOT the PFC. R31Nismoid, instead of having a go at me why don’t you tell all the people that posted about PFC on this thread to stay on topic. NOTE: I am not bagging the PFC by any means; it is a very good ECU. I’m just getting sick of people paying out on Motec and Autronic systems on this forum.
