  1. This, And to add to everything else, it's not a waste of money if the person doing it enjoyed it, isn't the idea of modifying a car to get enjoyment out of it? whether you are bolting on an exhaust or doing an engine rebuild... more often than not none of the stuff we do to the cars is "profitable" it's all "wasted money" but we do it because we are enthusiasts. Some people seem to forget the old addage " Each to their own" You should try and remember that Thomas
  2. From what i've heard, Cameron's Bodyworks on the southside does top notch work. CDR paint and panel in Acacia ridge/Rocklea also seem to do some good work
  3. Nice, Scrub on full lock?
  4. At this stage it looks like i may be the only one there! But i'll head there like i've said above and hopefully a few more will show up...
  5. Maybe put it in the forsale section?
  6. As Cyifly mentioned, i suggest for those around the Wynnum/Manly/Tingalpa/Cannon Hill and whatever other Eastside suburbs or whoever else that want to pre-meet and cruise over to DFO I propose an 8.15am meet at Mayfair Village shopping centre car park for an 8.30am departure to the airport DFO It's on the corner of Manly and Hargreaves rd's, and has sufficient spaces to fit a few skylines. 7. I'm in Belmont, close enough....
  8. Matte black vinyl wrap with gloss black graphics Be aware, matte black is not everyones cup of tea, but if it's what you like then don't let others opinions stop you.
  9. If you were in Brissie i'd have snatched the lot up in a heart beat!
  10. Haven't played for a while myself, been on Black ops with my little bro while we waited for his copy of bf3 to arrive (which it now has) as well as ourTurtle beach P11 headsets. Will be getting back on BF3 now though since he's got it also.
  11. another +1 to Dan at ERD and Sean at EFI
  12. I play when i have time, have been making time to play lately as i figure too much work and no play can be detrimental to my mental health RusH_au is the user name (im pretty sure) Quite a fan of the jets and will vary my class depending on who im playing with. Also thinking about buying the premium pack and given that you can download it on up to 2 PS3's i might put the second copy on my lil bros machine
  13. FYI, if you buy thru perfect run its $180 + postage (and if i remember correctly the postage was quite decent as was delivery time from japland)
  14. Nismo are the nicest looking in my opinion Got mine from www.perfecrun.jp, they were the cheapest place i could find genuine smoked nismo front and side indicators.
  15. I'd consider those acceptable prices. Ask what material they use? I wouldn't be using anything other than something from 3M, Avery or Hexis.
  16. A little over 2 years on. As good as the day she was done.
  17. Not a 33, but this is an old progress shot from when i was doing the matte black wrap on my 34 Hopefully it helps.
  18. Certainly is one more
  19. New shoes, now just needs guards rolled. And if im not mistaken, Phils white r34 is wearing Do-luck rims?
  20. Garage Saurus search for that
  21. Depends on a lot of factors Ethan, PM me if you'd like to talk specifics.
  22. Contact Mike from Carbon Demon, i highly recommend his work to those in Sydney
  23. With vinyl, you get what you pay for, if you buy the cheaper product, you can expect it not to conform as well to curves and more than likely bubble up or not have very good adhesion to begin with. I've tried many different cheaper carbon films, and have hated every single one. On some occasions a cheap film is ok for flatter panels or those that have light curves, but it really isn't worth wasting your time and money on. Though more expensive, i highly recommend using 3M's 1080 series carbon, either that or Hexis' HX30000 series carbon. Both are top notch products (I prefer 3M slightly more than the Hexis) But like i said, you get what you pay for. Also, as Marsss said, it requires a lot of patience as well as prior preparation. Cleaning before wrapping is almost as essential as the wrapping itself, do a poor job cleaning the surface and you can expect the film lift or look generally crappy.
  24. I took care of it mate, not a home job lol, check out the sig. PM me if you are after a quote
  25. Doesn't stick very well to primer, and no manufacturer will warrant it, nor a vinyl installer. the ideal finish is one that is like perfect factory paint, so a clear coat will certainly help with the 'stick'
