Oh yeah, i know what you are talking about, so i assume you suggested it more to mask the fact that the bonnet doesn't sit flush with the bumper rather than as a fix per say lol. I actually considered getting a carbon one, but i don't know, i wasn't 100% sold on the look

It probably wont work with a lip because that bonnet wasn't designed to be used with a bonnet lip (top mole), those are just for when you use a gtr bonnet and a gtt front bar, the gtt front bars are chopped flat where it meets the bonnet where the gtr front bars have that extra 'lip' at the top as the gtr bonnets don't curve downward at the front. If that makes any sense (makes sense in my head, maybe not in words though.)

Yes i did the carbon wrap. Why does a scourer sound dodgy? If you are really concerned about what you use you can soak it in metho and use the rough side of a chux (dishwashing sponge) and it will do the same thing.

It will depend on the surface you are applying it to, it says you have an R33 (on the left side thingy), if you are planning on doing your centre console/dash fascia etc... you will more than likely need to remove the factory rubbery paint. (metho and a scourer/rag will do this) Once clean use Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), pretty sure this can be bought from most hardware/auto stores, to give it a final wipe down before applying the vinyl. This was done using the above method.

All a stretched tyre is is basically using any tyre that is smaller in width than the recommended size for that width of rim, The fitter "Stretches" the tyre as they put it on the rim. No special tyres or anything, you can do it with pretty much any tyre you like, you just need to buy a smaller size width.

Looks good, it's just a replica of a gtr front bar with the v-spec lips. If you like it, buy it, all you are going to get is people either saying they like it or they don't anyway. Jump on google and look up 34 gtr images, you will find heaps of them with that type of front bar.

As above, i'd go with the red, no colour is going to 'match' with the colour of your paint, although you may be able to get pink LED's to suit. I'm sure im not the first to think this, but why would you remove the turbo engine from your only to replace it with a non-turbo one? It would be worlds cheaper for you to simply sell this car and buy a non-turbo one. Add to that less hassle in making it all come together smoothly... time spent... etc... It's almost as bad as saying you'd remove the turbo until you were able to drive a turbo'd car and then just put it on later...?!

Congrats on the purchase, But for those taping up their cars to stop chips etc... for the love of god, at least get it done using a decent product. Yes it costs a little more than a roll or 2 of tape, but you can barely see it for one, and it should last for years, and WILL actually stop stone chips, and even minor scratches/scrapes. We use 3M scotchguard paint protection film. See below. (FYI this image isn't my own)

As above, Nothing about that kit is from the Z-tune except the bonnet. Front bar is a gtr front bar with both lower lips, Side skirts look like JDL's own take on the GTR standard skirt Rear bar is a standard gtr rear bar. However if they all fit up to the gtt nice and snug i think it is a good price.

Go back through the 16 pages of this thread, you should find plenty of kits for your 4dr.

Look at it this way, no matter where you buy from, (unless they are located in Melb) there will be shipping... so its just as likely to get damaged being sent from sydney to melb as it is from the UK to melb, only difference is it probably changes hands a few more times when coming from over seas, That said, UWISSH! gave you some great first hand experience, so take that into consideration

FYI, Stock 34 gtr rims are 18x9 +30 My rims are Grenade GX01's (gtr replicas) and are +20 (more aggressive offset)

Hmmm, i was under the impression R-tune and Z-tune bonnets were the same thing, ie: the z-tune has an R-tun bonnet? (we all just end up calling it a z-tune bonnet anyway?) Post up the pics you are referring to. Keep in mind, any that aren't originial/genuine parts are probably going to have their differences as no doubt different people have different moulds etc...

18x9 +20 all around for me, 235's on the front and 245's on the rear, no issues so far. Fills the front guards nicely, the rear could probably go another half inch wider.

I was unsure on what that means also, but i assume he's referring to the overfender/flare thingys over the rear guards. Not sure who makes those though... Nismo?
