Looks like the stuff some of the guys have been using to make front lips. If im not mistaken it's just garage door rubber that you double sided tape or screw on. There is a whole thread on it. EDIT: Infact, here it is http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/367338-diy-universal-lip/

Taking Of Black Plastic Bits On My R34 Na Skyline
RusH_ replied to 34jun's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
A saw or dremel, those are a fixed part of the front bar, only way they are coming off is if you cut them off -
Pretty much as above, There is no avoiding dirt and matte black shows all of it, try having a whole matte black car! Best you can do is simply clean it regularly, brake dust and road grime is inevitable.
-
Depending on what you are after i may be able to assist with a template as i can cut mask for spraying. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to discuss more.

Fair enough, One thing you could consider doing which i've done is redrilling the holes in your number plates and moving the plate upward, still positioned in the centre but just sitting higher up, this frees up the front end significantly depending on how high you take it.
-
I'm going to go ahead and say that the number plate probably wont need relocating at all, it'll be simply a matter of trimming off some of the back sections of the front bar to fit the cooler and piping. But how much is going to be up to you to figure out when test fitting the front bar, There is a great tutorial on how to fit return flow FMIC's in the Tutorial section, have a look, i'd say it'll answer all of your questions.

Karbonetic Carbon B-Pillar Garnish Set - Nissan Skyline R33
RusH_ replied to gtsttrk's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Just a suggestion, if they are looking a little worse for ware, perhaps wrap them, carbon look vinyl or even just a nice gloss black. A lot cheaper than those Karbonetic covers. -
Nismo Body Kit With Bomex Rear R34 Gt
RusH_ replied to joker's r34's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Personally, i don't think it would flow well at all, but that is just my opinion. Too much venting and lines on the bomex bar. -
A gtr cat back is longer than that of a gtt catback, i've done this myself, i've since had a custom system made up but it was about 300mm too long if i remember correctly. I bought an Impul 3" catback from a gtr and had to have it shortened to fit my gtt.

(OO)SKYLINE(OO) Hit the nail on the head with all of the above. The rear bar is from Abflug

There is a whole thread on this, do a search, goes for something like 18 pages and even tells you where to get some. As for what is 'good', thats all a matter of personal opinion.

Nismo - Vinyl Side Decals - On / Off
RusH_ replied to Sinista32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
One thing to consider Sinista, is that if your car gets a lot of sun/UV and you leave the graphics on for a long period of time, it is likely that when you remove it you will notice the difference in paint fade as the paint under the graphics will look newer than the paint around it. I'm not 100% but i think a cut and polish may solve that issue should it occur... -
Where Can I Buy This Front Bumper
RusH_ replied to NISMO.SKYLINE's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
JSAI make the z-tune/nismo style skirts and rear pods for the GTT, i plan to grab a set in about a month. Have heard mixed things about the service but willing to give it a go. -
Where Can I Buy This Front Bumper
RusH_ replied to NISMO.SKYLINE's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Err nope, that is definitely a top secret bar for a Gtt. This is the z-tune bar (for a gtt, but it's still the same as for the gtr) Look at the lower section below the opening for the FMIC and the additional lip. Quite different to that of the top secret bar pictured above. -
That is one hell of a job Steven. Looking forward to seeing them fitted and working, very terminator!

As above, raise it up a little, I suppose the lesson to learn here is don't take someone elses opinion on what is "too low" for your car as everyone is going to have a different idea. Same would go for an exhaust shop and telling them not to make it "too loud" if you get where im going. Grab some higher res shots, would be good to see the full car closer, i imagine the colour would get you quite a bit of attention.

Looks the goods Pete, love the plates also.

If you agree with each to his own then this post was pointless, Nismo didn't make LED tail lights because the look like "a donkey's arse" Again each to his own, OP the Qest lights are a good choice if you don't want to spend the big bucks on the Nismo ones but they are still fairly exxy. EDIT: you've clearly already figured this out, not a fan of the mars/east bear style ones myself, but see how you go.

Ah very nice, Tyres are 235/35/19 up front and 265/30/19 rear. With the front plastic guard liners removed there is almost no scrubbing on full lock. I'm thinking of adding camber arms to give it just a little neg camber and also hopefully help it tuck more when leaning into a corner/going down a large dip, as if i corner too hard it will scrub a little on i believe the guard. Also going down a dip really fast which naturally compresses the coilovers tends to cause a little scrape. Will send you a PM regarding the tint film.
-
Cheers Tom, 19x9.5 +12 all around, front and rear guards are both rolled to flatten the lip and pulled out a few mm. Reverse lights are tinted using a gloss black tint film (not like window tint) i stock, as were the rear indicators which i now have precut pieces to suit 34 tail light indicators. The beauty of it is when you throw it in reverse or put on your indicators they are still clear as day, almost no reduction in brightness with the tint film on.

Couple from the Auto1 meet in Kawana on Saturday night.

Stickers don't generally stick as well to waxed surfaces as they do just a clean paint surface. Given you aren't wrapping anything though it shouldn't really be an issue.

Impressive transformation, how many years approx in between shots?
