hey guys, looking to buy some new rims. What I have in mind are rims that look like the Koya drift tek, except has got some DISH to it. I been searching around a bit and havn't run into these kind of looking rims, has anybody seen these kind of rims or know where to get them from?? Also where can i find koya drift tek rims from in the sydney area?, been to some close local shops but don't seem to stock koya at all

Thanks!, If the conversion is done for the rear, would it definately stuff the HICAS steering?, if it is true can anybody recommend me a mechanic in sydney that would KNOW what they are dealing with when doing the conversion?

hey guys, this only happens on a COLD start, as soon as I start the car i would get a squeaking noise for about 10-15seconds then stop. This ONLY happens on a cold start and sounds like a belt squeaking? This 2nd problem is not related to the 1st. The problem is that i get low idles sometimes, looks to be about 550rpm, I beleive the correct idle range is 700rpm, and at other times i would get HIGH idles, around 1500-2000rpm, this dosen't happen ALL the time but does occasionally. Also Sometimes when i start the car, (dosen't happen on cold starts), the idle would seem to want to die but kick itself up then become stable. I read somewhere this COULD be from a split vacuum hose? but i am unsure. Any pointers guys? I drive an NA r33 gts4

I only want to lower my car a small amount, I'm talking about, lowering it 2cm? lol, the stock height looks a bit high to me but I don't want to go LOW where I gotta drive at an angle over every speed bump. I read that if you lower your car JUST replacing the springs it could cause some long term damage to your suspension system. Since I only want it lowered a couple CMs would it be a suitable to keep the stock shocks?

i put a k&n pod on my 33 bout 5mnths n 2 days ago my 33 had sum pretty bad jerking..revs wuld randomly drop n engine sumtimes wont rev at all..my idle was lower den usual n at times i get high idles as well idling at 1600.. my mechanic ran an engine diagnostic n told me that problems origin was from the afm..he sed he gave my afm a light clean n jerking has gone 4 now.. I just wana kn0w r these symtpons of an oil drenched afm element or culd it b sumtin else? If the k&n is causing this wat filter wuld b better? 3A pod or an apexi powa intake? Thanks 4 any suggestions -
hey guys, I've been using a K&n oiled pod filter for a while and I'm noticing that engine chokes sometimes, i.e revs randomly drop. When i took out my AFM i noticed small traces of oil. I'm just wondering can the choking be due to the AFM in oil or something else?. I can't think of a better idea why my rb25de is acting up any help would be greatly appreciated. Can't really drive like this

hey guys, r33 gts4 was running fine until yesterday. The engine sounds like its about to die when its idling, the rev metre drops 2 ZERO den bounces back up, engine is about to turn off but won't let itself. And when im driving the revs would kick back resulting in a choking feeling similar 2 like when you stall the car except engine stays on, if i try to push it some more the choking gets worse and car wouldn't even move, just a constant stalling/choking state car rocking back and forth. I doubt its the gearbox since the ENGINE wants to die even on neutral. Can any1 point me in the right direction of whats wrong?!?!? thanks for any help!! I can't drive the car like this! lol

so on a r33 gts4 front shocks have a fork lower mount and rear has a eye lower mount?

thanks for the write up, so your saying i wouldn't need r33 gtr parts at all?, simply just all hubs, rotors, calipers from a gtst, bring them all to mechanic and let the do the work?

I got a r33 gts4 and looking to lower it as well. So basically if wanna lower gts4. I would need r33 gtr front shocks and r33 gtst rear shocks? or would a full set of r33 gtr coilovers bolt right up? Im seeing a few second hand full set of gtr coilovers on ebay but not sure if they'll bolt up 2 my gts4

thanks for that, had a lot of useful info there. Just a quick question about the XF TB. Can I get them off any Ford XE/XF EFI ???? something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/FORD-XE-XF-EFI-THROTTL...1QQcmdZViewItem Also would an aftermarket plenum be essential? or would the stock one be adequate. Would I need a larger AFM as well?, if so what AFM would I require?

hey guys, I recently came across an 80mm billet aluminium throttle body on ebay. It didn't say whether it would fit an N/A or not but just said fits rb25det. (i have a N/A r33) My question is, would the throttle body from a rb25deT be the same as an rb25de one? in other words would that throttle body bolt up nice and clean? or would I need a large throttle body made specifically for an rb25de? If it does, what other kind of modifications would need to be done? e.g, larger aftermarket plenum?, larger diametre intake pipe??

mmm, would I HAVE TO by the front arms off a r33 gtr?, how much would they cost?. Basically converting a 33gts4 to 5stud i would need 33 gtr rotors, calipers and hubs for the front? do I also need brake cylinder and booster off a gtr? or will a gtst 1 do? what about the back? would a set of hubs calipers and rotors off a gtst do? any adjustments of the hand brake? sorry, imma bit of a noob with this ><

thanks for help and suggestions guys, so basically i would just need gtst 2 x front hubs and 2 x rear hubs, replace my 4 stud hubs with these, redrill my stock rotors and im set for new 5 stud rims right?

hey guys, just a quick question, i gotta s2 33gts4 and looking to do a 5 stud conversion however i don't want to spend too much as i am only doing it so i can find bigger rims, my question is, if i just fit the hubs + rotors off a 33 gtst, would i also need to get bigger calipers aswell? would the stock calipers still work ok? i understand if i get bigger calipers i will need a another brake booster which leads to more money lol. also would just changing the hubs + rotors on the rear brakes be the same?
