  1. if you wanna do it.. use two t25's off a ca18.. they should work well and if your after a gain after that just upgrade to the t25g's then to t28's off a s14/s15 they are all the same flange so the two original manifolds you get made up will be fine. youll need fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, bigger injectors, fmic, custom exhaust manifolds (obvouis but had to mention) a computer that will use a map sencor.. cause it will just be easier.. but mostly up to personal preferance. .. the r33 gtst box should be fine.. a good clutch.. you could use different diff gears to keep the turbos on boost if they drop off.. id sujest getting cams and cam gears.. help bring turbos on boost if there is problems???.. what else is there.. anyway just from the stuff iv said that will cost a lil bit more than 2000 bux.

  5. maybe s15.. dont get a 300zx.. meant to be a heap of trouble and way HEAPS. i cant see a s14 beating an s15... and the weight would disadvantage wit the r33 as well.. so im pretty sure the s15 would win...
  6. why dont you run it from turbo to the passenger side of the cooler.. and then up through the battery place and up to a 180 degree bend ontop of the cam cover.. if ya get what i mean.. should be just as good as what everyone else is running.. you are getting rid of a fair bit or piping and only adding a 180degree bend.. cant be too restrictive.
  7. wouldnt the 6 throttle bodys on the gtr make the imperfections of the manifold design non existant? the plenum would just be holding the air ready for the throttle bodys to open and the air go through. but then wouldnt a BIG plenum hold lots of air ready for the throttle bodys to do their stuff.. and wouldnt the piping/cooler hold air unless its being pushed out by the bov or pushed back onto the turbo and wasted? what i mean is that having six throtlle bodys in the same position like the gtr set up would stop 5 and 6 leaning out.. or would the shape of the plenum just make this happen naturally?
  8. why is it the worst idea.. say the front facing throttle body does stuff up the flow to the cylinders.. moving the throttle to the other side of the plenum next to the strut tower would make it even again wouldnt ? you just go and say its the worst idea but thats it?? why is it the worst? there is a vl turbo in melbourne with it done, done by P.E.T or something i belive?? i highly doubt that moving of the plenum is going to give you a hp increase only feel better, drive better etc so there is no point going into hp with a foward facing plenum.
  9. then why dont ppl relocate their throttle body to the other side of the plenum.. next to the strut tower.. iv seen this done before on a vl turbo.. it would work the same as the stock one you would think. just the same place only at the back of the plenum.
  10. my car done the same thing today.. sh*t my self.. stupid stocko bov caused it.. took it off and blocked up the whole and its all sweet.. check everything else before you go taking it off and getting it rebuilt.. could be a gasket? or a stuffed bov.. .. it was a wheezing noise when boost came on?

  13. this thing is AMAZING.... go the sr... oh my god did i say that.. some one take me for a drive in a quick rb powered car!!! anyway.. this thing hammers.. great buy dude LOVE it.
  14. i think its more of what you prefer.. forget what motor they are replacing be it ca or sr.. its what they prefer.. basicly the rb20, rb25 and sr20 respond the same to mods.. but the rb25 would make slightly more power due to the 500cc.. the rb20 being the cheapest of all is going to get the nod from most people.

  16. dont the rb25 turbo's just have the wastegate to compressor cover control method for boost?
  17. 2530 is the go from what iv gathered.. not really worth going 2540 just adds lag and is only good for top end..
  18. my cars got coil overs so i think it handles really well.. i dont think you would notice it at all.. these cars weigh under 1200kg with the rb20..
  19. but a shitter to drive round.. that helps.. but then when ya go out.. they will get ya car at home... there is no winning.
  20. my car beats r33's. i got exhaust and the rest is stocko rb20det.. but i got 4.3 diff gears

  22. hahhaah... i hated doin this.. took me a friggen week.. only a couple of hours all up tho.. just got too pissed off with it.. good luck. this would be a good time to change all your belts n stuff save ya doin it later.
  23. bleed valve is a boost controller.. greddy boost controller - u say you have a boost controller.. is it electronic or just a knob or flick switch?
  24. i dont have an alarm as yet but i have a kill switch for the fuel pump and other various kill switches.. it would be pretty hard to steal the car i think.. the switches are not visable and some of them aint switches just various wire "plug things" i dont mind spending the extra 1 minute to unplug and switch stuff off knowing that the thief will have a bit of trouble starting the car.
