so my bro drove my car back from melb to ballarat in July as I was going inter-state and car has pretty much being parked and started every week or so but not driven out the garage today when he tried to drive it, it struggles around 3000-4000rpm mark and starts to stutter and die, it has hks chipped ecu and stock turbo, fuel pump, hks piping, blitz bov.. last fuelled in july (1/4 tank left) since i cant physically check the car myself, i have had him to check few things idles normally fuel pump primes afm plugs in securely zorst not smoking bov blocked off properly fuel filter replaced not long ago was serviced bout 2000kms ago nothing else modified in the car since being in the garage how long does the fuel last in-tank before deterioating? i have a tomei fuel pump that i might try and get him to swap with i had previously checked dry solder joints on the afm (none) but havent gotten him to clean the afm as yet.. should it idle fine and stutter when driven on a dirty afm? will get him to check for air leak.. wot else can i check?

@andy wot boost are u running and how well does the profec hold it.. i read somewhere its best to hook it up near the actuators on passenger side strut tower

gt-ss aka 2860-7= better response than 2530 aka 2860-7 but less top end power compared to 2530 best to search.. plenty of discussion on them

bugger.. i have heard of ppl putting wire mesh in the zorst for short amount of time.. does this work? i was thinking of getting a smaller flange plate made to fit between front pipe and the cat.. not sure if it will effectively reduce the noise by 4db or more though.. the test is done at 5100 rpm which sucks coz the car will easily pass at 4000 - 4500rpm mark with current zorst.. i dont even drive my car around the 5k mark.. anyone have a stock gtr zorst plz help.. other suggestions also appreciated

guys i need to borrow a catback zorst for either R32 gtr or gts-t.. due to epa notice, my current zorst is reading 94db which is illegal.. would anyone have a stock 32R front pipe as i have a 3in currently and it maybe adding to the high db reading.. will need it for 2 days at most and can pickup from metro melb.. plz help

hi guys, would like some help with following components that are failing on the car, would like suggestion/advice for replacement parts, be it genuine or aftermarket bits.. front: LH upper balljoint has play RH tie rod ends has play - suggestion to replace both sides Rack mounts worn - require replacement Rack knocking, LH boot broken - requires replacement rear: lower shock mount bushes fatigued/splitting - requires replacement sway bar bushes fatigued - recommend replacing d+link bushes brake pads 40% and rotors undersized - thinking of getting the K750 from groupbuy with braided lines.. rotors?? DBA? car is also currently tramlining with tein coilovers fitted but will have wheel alignment/balances after the above parts are replaced..

are the N1 better option vs std to put HID into as it wont be via projector lense?

how would the N1 headlights go.. should be able to get better visibility with those right??

on similar note, my 32R currently has 255/40/17 on rear (nankang) and 245/45/17 on front (contisport).. so my rolling diameter is 102 rear vs 110.25 front.. not good at all.. would like to know if my car symptoms is due to this and attesa.. speedo needle is constantly bouncing (original broken cables replaced with 2nd hand item) car tends to pull left/right at will randomly without turning steering (no steering wheel shudder even under braking and car does not pull left/right if checking for alignment etc) does this sounds like attesa having issues due to different rolling diameters..
