what the hell is that link man? haha have seen one take up to a month to arrive...
  7. Welcome to the forum dude. Most probably is the heater core, but have a look see just to be sure. If it is the core, sounds like a big job, dash out and everything. If your after a quick fix, either get some of that crap you put in the coolant to block of minor leaks such as chemiweld, downside, should only be temporary fix, may or may not work, might bugger up something else, probably not recommended. Or just bypass the core by sticking a pipe between heater hoses at the firewall, downside, unroadworthy and no heater.
  8. Dude, it's easy as man! Just a little effort involved and you will prevail. Stuff the 50+ buck call out fee. DIY and spend hard earned cash on yourself.

  13. no intrusion bars. You'll know when you see them. (usually 2 bars that goes horizontal to the door)
  14. know what it's even for benm? I know u said 'as a cushion for the steering wheel'...but cushioning what? Was thinkin of removing but thought, it's there for a reason...better leave it in.
  15. Would give u a hand, but from brisbane, haha. Did this fix on my neighbour's 33 steering wheel bout a month back. like benm said, was a 2 inche pice of metal that's rattling around with no bolts in site, so just used couple cable ties and the bugger aint going anywhere. Just becareful muckin around with the airbag unit.
  16. haha, i've always thought of this, but never done it. Want to see someone else do it though....so it's on them if it buggers up..haha.
  17. Had same problem on another car, luckily for me i sourced a 1inch rattle gun. Try using a hammer and punch/float bar and hit the bolt to try 'shock' the sized bolt. then give the gun another go. No go? try sourcing a bigger gun, but try not to snap the bolt...haha, that would suck.
  18. Yeah, mate of mine got defect last night and only copped the same old fine.
  19. I guess you can just carry out a test to see if it is your headgasket by checking ur water levels frequently. If it's using a whole heap of water (not leaking externally), then you got your problem and then I'd prolly try using additive before doing a headgasket...on that note, additives are usually a temporary fix. If u can get ur hands on a TeeKay tester...awesome!
  20. Having a sunroof is awesome, I love it, but also blows at the same time...just another hole for water to leak through. Try checking/replacing the sunroof window seal to eliminate it leaking again. Check the the window guiding rails (on each side of the sunroof), for anything obstructing the rollers from moving. Maybe rusted, unlubricated, etc etc. Maybe having a look at the moving gears, maybe it's lost a tooth, therefore motor keeps winding but it aint moving, just stuff like that. Could be problem from ages and has damaged the interior slide pannel, as usually constructed with chip wood sheet, or something like that....im just ranting on...hope it makes sense to you owen. haha.
  21. I can just tell, threads gonna be about which oil is better. haha, my 2 cents....i use magnatec 10w30 and couldn't be happier...cus it's free!
  22. Milkshakes are good. milkshake coming out of ur motor...not so good. I think ur right, blown head gasket. Dude, just be careful...no offence, but ur motor is on borrowed time if u just keep driving it like that.
  23. So i got an email back from Intec Racing. They said they haven't chipped it? So back to square one. Anyone able to shine a light on this chip...haha no longer mystery switch, it's a mystery chip! Tried lookin at workshop manuals to no avail... ...makes me sad. haha
