Okay a little bit of background.
Driveline is a RB25DET stock internals, dual stage boost controller, HKS Pod, 3" Exhaust, PowerFC, Bosch 040 and 10 PSI.
We just finished installing a gready plenum on his car to get rid of that nasty pipe work, also installed a Q45 throttle body at the same time.
Car was running perfectly before hand, now when it starts up, first rev is fine and for about 3 seconds it runs fine then all of a sudden it starts misfiring. Only problem is that the misfiring sounds random and not like its consistantly coming from one (or more) cylinders.
Little bit of white smoke is coming out the exhaust but thats nothing unusual, probably just condensation from a cold start.
I pulled the manifold off, checked the head (its straight) checked the plenum (its straight) bolted it back up. Also when i disconnect the AAC connections that i had to lengthen to connect under the plenum it makes no difference to the engines behaviour.
Also the longer i leave it running the worse the misfiring becomes... Is there anything i can check on the hand controller to narrow down the problem?
Could anyone suggest something i should try to fix this, i dont think its coils, plugs etc coz it was working fine before hand, must be something to do with the plenum/throttle body upgrade.
