The reason i ask is that i have a spare s1 rb25det that im going to rebuild while its out of the car. I have got my hands on some reasonably priced rb26 rods, got some wiseco forgies on the way, what else should be on my checklist? Power goal is 300rwkw

So if fitting an N1 oil pump a crank collar is required yes?

What is the necessity of a crank collar during an engine rebuild?

Okay its off and getting sent to get checked tomorrow. Is there any chance i may have damaged a water route at the front on the head somewhere putting the new manifold on? Is there any water channels/plugs near the front of the manifold that i should check?

First i tried the copy, then i tried the original, same issue with both. Guess ill just rip it off and get it checked.

Its the second plenum i have tried..... it better not be the head!!

Doesnt make sense though, the car was running perfect before the old plenum went off, new plenum goes on and its drippin water and missfiring

not sure if this is the right area to post this but im wondering if you guys can assist. i just installed a greddy intake manifold, started her up, starts fine and sounds good for about 2 seconds, then it starts missfiring. I also notice water seems to be leaking from the front two top bolts (not including the front nut). I used a new gasket and coated it in gasket goop before installing so i dont think its that seal thats broken..... any ideas guys?? ive had this car out of action for over two months now and its really startin to pi$$ me off! Thanks in advance
