Buy aftermarket OEM style replacements, they will last 50,000 kms and only cost $30 ea

if your running the car really low, use a FD RX7 rear shock, like a bilstein and move the spring seat etc. They are 50mm shorter in extended and compressed length.

Design 1 is a bushed option better for street, it also allows you to stuff around with caster which is a bad thing. Design 2 is a rose jointed and much stronger design, but it doesnt allow for as finite adjustments. Just curious what the prices are for both?

take them out of the car, see if the pillow ball has any play in it.

The ones that whiteline supply on say a supra or soarer are far far worse than stock. Do not use whiteline spreical ends, they wear out in under 3000kms. Find a greased alternative, there are many many universal ones available for about $40 ea to do this job. Almost every car made after 1990 uses a dual greased ball joint. This is why ghosan axed all the nissans because they were outdated.

The question is why would you want to install the GTR subframe? they use hicas and have worse subframe bushes, they give you a worse roll center

I bought these a while ago but plans have changed and Im stripping my car instead. These are new and unused. I am already losing money on them so don't try to haggle me. $125+$10 postage any where in Australia These fit all S13 and S14 Silvias, can be made to fit any S14, R31, R32, R33, etc. The only difference is the Blue part is a 12mm thread on S13s etc You just need to tap it out to 14mm for S14s and R32 R33s. I could even do this for $20 I guess.

A nissan or any factory ball joint is a metal on metal joint with no liner. The grease is effectivly the liner. In after market rod ends/heims they use a teflon/nylon liner instead of grease. You can buy rod ends with grease nipples, but almost all race teams recommend against using them

Yeah thats it, grease is the problem, as it attracts dirt to the joint, which is bad. As with everything though, there are always 2 or 3 schools of thought
