  1. Wow thread was bad to begin with and managed to turn out even worse...
  2. I asked the owner of the original orange GT-R about this and he says it was done by the export agency responsible for bringing GT-Rs into Singapore. Not sure if they still own the car or have sold it on to another person but yeah it was done with the knowledge of the Zele guys.

    R35 Drive Line ?

Those prices are straight from Nissan Japan which is the closest place to buy one from right now. I thought it was well known sorry I seemed abrupt but there is already a thread about it.

    R35 Drive Line ?

What's there to investigate? It's pricing is well known and shipping via container pricing is also well known. What would you do with it once it got here... You're looking at roughly, $32,000 for the engine assy minus turbos and accessories. $16,000 for the transaxle assy. To do anything with it you're looking at a lot more on bits and pieces.
  5. I came in this forum to post this but i see i've been beaten to it. Anyway I am 100% there in Jan. Booking flights now but this time of year is difficult, JAL is already booked up in the first week of January inbound and only have indirect Jetstar fares available now.... I guess I might have to try adjusting my dates... I wish TAS was on a little later in the year or something so flights weren't so hard to get.
  6. Sorry, thanks for pointing out the broken link. I fixed it.

  11. There's two types: http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b85873086 and http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m56168721 Just use someone from the forums to source them from Yahoo auctions. Here are the factory ones too btw, probably the best bet for fitment and looks but they aren't CF: http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u25230329
  12. I'm in and have paid.
  13. I agree and some people are reporting this thread as spam. At first glance yesterday I was going to close it but I'm well aware that DRIFTT has no intention to spam this website since its unlikely he owns it or anything. In this respect I don't think it violates any rules. I think maybe we should reword the subject so it looks less like a free ad and more like he intended it as "hey here's an interesting link I found"...
  14. The dyno chart:
  15. No sir. Tyres are standard Japanese factory Bridgestone RE070 run flats.
  16. Keep the thread on topic please. If you feel I have removed your post unjustly please PM me about it instead of calling moderators names on the forums. Thankyou.
  17. 10 psi. They are running 15.
  18. Yep 11.1 @ 124mph was the best run w/ launch control on. They dialed in 11.0 for the bracket drag but launch control sequence wasn't dialled in 100% correctly. Still ran an 11.5 @125 and an 11.8 @ 126 without launch control. Pics, timeslip and story @ www.gtrblog.com Full photo gallery coming soon
  19. 35 GTR's have been on the SEVS register for low volume new vehicle imports for some months now.
  20. The sensor exists but there is no readout on the MFD on any GT-R except those with the Nismo MFD.
  21. haha! zing to toyota if it is.
  22. So 10c to the guy who can pick what kind of car is squashing this perfectly good R35 GT-R. Link: http://www.gtrblog.com/index.php/2008/05/0...y-step-1?blog=4
  23. The timing method is standardised by Sport Auto magazine and has become the defacto standard for Nurburgring timing across the board and has been adopted by almost all manufacturers. The start/finish line is no longer used for timing because it is dangerous. The Nurburgring is a public road and cars are constantly entering the track from that area. If you're going all out on a flying lap you're likely to crash into someone at that point.
