Yes the 34 GT-R has the secondary air feed from the wheel well the same as the R33 GT-R. It gets significantly noisier if you take the blanking plate out of that intake even on stock turbos. It's best to do this and not cut the airbox up you won't find the airbox is much of a problem under 300awkw. Just get a good panel filter in it.

Why would you presume that? There is likely contributing factors in both the hardware and conditions.

Well congratulations again to the XANAVI/NISMO #23 GT-R for pulling off an amazing back to back victory followed by the Calsonic/IMPUL #12 GT-R in second place! Third was the ARTA #1 NSX but this win breaks Nissan’s drought at Okayama having lost to Honda in the past 2 clashes at this circuit. Amazingly the PETRONA/TOM’S #36 SC430 did great coming in at 4th after doing not so well in qualifying. The Calsonic/IMPUL #12 GT-R managed the best time in the race of 1′27.850 followed by the YellowHat/YMS #3 GT-R with a 1′28.281. The latter coming in 10th place in the race however.

The race is due to start in half an hour and here are the grid positions. Of course we know the Xanavi/Nismo #23 GT-R is on pole from our update yesterday after the Super Lap qualifying session but here’s how the top 10 places fill out. 1. XANAVI/NISMO #23 GT-R 2. ARTA #1 NSX 3. CALSONIC/IMPUL #12 GT-R 4. YELLOWHAT YMS/TOMICA #3 GT-R 5. TAKATA #18 GT-R 6. MOTUL/AUTHECH #22 GT-R 7. RAYBRING #100 NSX 8. EPSON #32 NSX 9. REAL #17 NSX 10. PETRONAS TOM’S $36 SC430 The WOODONE/ADVAN Clarion #24 GT-R qualified in 14th place. Let’s hope their luck improves during the race to at least get past the Toyotas.

There's another one where the manual shows a guy getting a flat tire in one frame and then it looks like he's throwing himself off a bridge in the next. Presumably since the tires cost so much to replace. Beer Barons joke not mine...

He's the same guy that blew his load all over the 1 series BMW... he has a well known bias towards german cars.

I have a set of good condition second hand genuine Ganador mirrors for 2 door R33 Skylines. These fit GTR and GTST 2 doors. They're silver in colour. They perform all the normal power mirror adjustment functions and bolt straight in with about 10 minutes work. A really good way to get that Jap look. I'm selling these because I ended up scoring a set of white ones off a mate so I bought those so I didn't need to paint these. SOLD
