i have a broken exhaust stud as well. Im sure most R33 owners do its very common. How much effort was it to get to the stage where you could remove the broken stud. Workshops generally quote about 1k in my experience to replace these.

Valet feature. You should have 2 different keys for your R33. A squarey head one and a round head one. The round one is the one you give to valet kids and it doesnt open the boot or the glovebox. If you are gonna use it, you need to disable the remote boot release via this as said above

Does anyone know where to get a replacement receiver/dryer for an R33 that is compatible with the R134 gas? Some other late model aussie delivered nissan would probably have one that fits. Anyone know? Thanks

You know there is a pretty good chance you will make it past without them caring. God knows i have done some weird things with my luggage before. Bringing in boxes and boxes of computer hardware and never been sniffed at... I am still willing to pony up $1385 or whatever it was because I agree with you that it is a pretty good deal still. The HKS Idle Stabliser changes the signal going to the ECU from the AFM. It's a bandaid soloution at best.

And as long as you get metal film and a lifetime warranty, just about any tint shop should do it since you can always take it back if it doesnt look right.

thanks yeah, I pretty much had to drive it home. I drove it for about 1.5hrs at up to 100km/hr on the freeway. It seemed fine and didnt wobble or travel off the road by itself. i guess i will find out tonight after the panel beater has had it all day.

Thanks yeah 4k is close. I have priced up parts and stuff and im looking at about 1500 for body parts 1000 for panel beating. Then comes painting and anything else i havent discovered yet.
