wish it did dude but the S1 is a bit different and requires a headlight and bonnet swap to fit. I dont have the cash to do it all sorry.

What you can do is unplug the boost solenoid and wire it to Accessory +12volt and ground. This makes it open permanantly while the ignition is on and you get the 7-8psi from 2500-3000 rpm. I've been running this for a good two weeks or something now and its good. You could even run a switch to the dashboard and have it switchable between 5 and 8 psi for daily driving.

Thanks. Yeah i also figured it would be better to be upfront to the police now and face the consequences if any than worrying needlessly about if I had broken any laws and facing some criminal charge or something.

Thanks for the advice dude. I will be taking it to a few panel shops around where I live tommorrow for a few quotes. Probably not worth making an insurance claim like you said. In the long run I would end up paying 2 or 3 times the repair costs.

damn. poor GTR. Wonder how much those guardrails will set him back... Im glad my engine seems to have survived without problem. Just changed the oil yesterday too and she was running so well.

Well I rang the Police Assistance Line because I figured if I was going to make an insurance claim I may need a police report. Besides I didnt need to give them my name or anything to ask for advice on this. It was thinking I might also be liable for some damages to the guard rail or something, but aparently not. Dont think i will make an insurance claim tho, seems to be fairly managable damage.

Well I guess I have learnt a big lesson today about guardrails, and learnt the hard way. I hit one in my R33 and its mashed up the passenger side front guard, the bumper (repairable), bonnet and headlight. The inside of the engine bay behind the passenger side headlight looks like a bit of a mess and it compressed in and squashed my pod filter. There is probably suspension and structural damage although its hard to see. The car however was drivable and i had to drive it 1.5hrs to get home on the freeway and it didnt rattle or wiggle or steer funny. I called the police and asked what I had to do and they said since: - noone else was involved' - the car did not need towing - i wasnt under the influence - i just hit the guard rail i dont have to file a report. Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen?

I've seen that yellow R34 parked outside the 711 on george street a fair bit. I also saw another yellow 34 GTT with a large dent just in front of the front door parked just outside the Spanish club (next to 3 wise monkeys) the other weekend. I wonder how he got that dent? (Anyone else see this poor car?)

heh if your friends bought new lights because they "hazed" then they wasted a lot of money. You can clean that with any decent cut/polish. If I were you I would lean towards the S2 simply because it's newer.

A stock Soarer TT puts out about 149kw at the rear wheels whereas on the same dyno a Stock R33 GTS25t will do about 130kw. With the extra weight and auto box in the Soarer it should be close.

I got my Skyline done @ Premier Tint in Liverpool and the job is fine. The cut is excellent. But the film bubbles during drying. I've had them replace it on my drivers side and passenger side front windows because it had been 8 weeks and still hadnt dried out. Now it looks fine all round.

I took the plug off the solenoid today and attached clips to the Accessory +12v and ground today. This opens the solenoid whenever the ignition is switched on. The car pulls harder now and achieves full boost (~7psi or just over the +3.5 mark on the stock boost guage) from about 2500 - 2600 rpm. This makes the ride feel smoother and faster basically because when you're accelerating hard in a stock Skyline you know you're waiting for that 5000rpm boost increase. Now there is no wait. Anyway, the mod took 10 minutes of my time. Involved less than 1 meter of wire, and assorted little clips all of which were lying around. I think i'll just leave it there for a while.

I got a call this morning from the NSW Office of Fair Trading after making an enquiry with them regarding my odometer being wound back and the dealer selling it to me as if it was low mileage. Basically the car was sold with XX,XXX km on the clock but later there was evidence found to say the timing belt was changed at XX,XXXkm + 30,000 extra KM. They seemed very very keen for me to persue it further and have told me what to do. So there may be some resolution.

Cant hear it anymore. Induction noise too loud or its gone away... I plan on putting the airbox back on soonish so i will let you know if the noise is still there.

What panel filter did you go with then? I might have to go back to the box to see for myself.
