  1. One of the Nurburgring test cars now lives at Adenau's workshop in Japan. If you make the trek, you too can see, touch, lick and even hump it if you like. There's very little mystery and it comes to a lot of GT-R club events in Japan. People that are saying it is a non standard this or that really are just pulling it out their ass and I doubt Nissan would have sold it to a private workshop had it been a modified special super secret version. http://www.adenau.co.jp/
  2. great point... red bits in the seats or a $70+k cheaper buy price. I dunno. It's a hard choice.
  3. We get the black edition whereas the US guys don't ... poor bastards.
  4. Good points. Suzuki-san is a real driver. Porsche stated their engineer couldnt drive it as quick. No shit!? Aanyways, that thing I said about 3rd gear was a joke guys
  5. Worthless show. The editing was a total botch together too. All the interior shots for the GT-Rs lap were from some other car.... http://www.viddler.com/explore/GTRBlog/videos/46/
  6. Yep, October is the Sydney motor show!
  7. Very sad to hear of Power House Amuse founder and number 1 driver Hideki Tanabe-san's passing away last weekend. The R1 Phantom was the last car he worked on and is legendary already in these early stages of R35 GT-R tuning. I remember seeing this car at TAS in January and being blown away by the quality of the parts he made. Big loss. Amuse will carry on with Tanabe-san's wife at the helm for now.

    Gtr R35 Badge

My thoughts are this is a very strange first post. Light up badges have been going around a while now. Not too popular though for good reason.
  9. It's his license plate...
  10. Ouch man. That's Fujimura's car. He has posted on his blog since the crash so hopefully he's ok and everything...
  11. Yep. Pace note error hey. Sounds like tomorrow is gonna be real tough only 4 secs ahead of Richards but judging from today Jones can drive pretty damn well.

  13. Yes I've heard that as well but nothings final until it's final. If it turns out to be true I don't really care but given the option I would skip the premium model.
  14. This article was also posted online. I wrote a big long comment on their website with all the corrections and calling them on all the incorrect facts in their article but they moderated me out. Nuremburg ring! Lol. As for "V-Spec" compliance. I don't think it will be possible. I believe Nissan will have full volume import approval for the car by then so it's unlikely to be possible after that. PS. I Fixed the url in the first post for ya.
  15. Car's been out almost a year, time to start planning to plan to hire someone to plan a go to market strategy.
  16. It's a case of modified vs. standard and it's a dumb comparison.
  17. I like the silver rims on some colours. I'd probably just buy the base model. I don't want the fancy 40kg bose sound system.
  18. I'll buy one. I just haven't figured out the finer details yet. So far all I know is that a bank robbery may need to be involved.
  19. Yes we know there is a real Blitz R35. I've seen it in the flesh. It's not got that body kit on it though.
  20. One more emissions test means precisely nothing. There have been workshops with every single test completed for months and GT-Rs since EARLY this year and still the government drags their feet. This amounts to nothing until they have cars plated. These workshops have also been promised by DOTARS that everything is great, no problems. Where are the plates then? Nowhere!
  21. It's poppycock. In fact the car, by law, could not have been sold in the US had it required this.
  22. Quite right. I never looked at it in detail before but it does look pretty dodgy in a photo viewer when you zoom in.
  23. The details many of these websites are publishing as fact are just month old rumours. They're close to the real info stats wise but there's more to it that they are missing. And it is most definitely not V-Spec. It is Spec-V I guess it's time to start getting used to it...
  24. SS's are a great street turbo. Very responsive. I have a brand new set for sale if you're interested in Sydney for $2700.
  25. Your topics get deleted because they are reposts. There is a thread already for this!
