I think it is a pain to have these things to sort out regardless what the they are for (general mantance )or not . But my questions would be what did the car cost you in the first place as this would help with weather or not its worth cutting your loses or not also how much you thinking it will cost to get the car up to 100% . If you got the car cheap knowing these problems then your just going to have to suck it up but if you paid full price and got stuck with this then I can see your point and would be concidering cutting out here as well . Good luck Also painting a car for 1200.00 is hard to believe product alone will cost more than that on its own and if you can get that I wouldn't be to confident on the quality .

I have been painting for just over a year now with little help from very crappy head painters .I am lucky enough to have been looked after by tafe teachers and as of next week I start working with one of Perths better painters in both smash and custom so I look forward to making some more progress forward this year . I finshed the front bar of last night after fitting a larger intercooler . Spent today fittting the front bar up along with the front lights etc . Heres the results . My next step is wheels .I was thinking about doing the wheels in a black satin until I can get some 18s that will be black centres with polished lips but thats if I don't sell the car by then

I wanted to do something that would match my other car so I did a black bonnet Heres my weekend toy

The sticker is not a sticker its actauly painted on but I am not overly sure on it but I wanted to do something different with the bonnet . I do like what I have done but it was more of a test for myself and a start for a my future directions . I want to start doing different paint jobs using different stuff and grahpics etc heres the nismo in the sun

Yeah I did it myself as I wanted to do something different to test where I am at painting wise found area's to work on but over all happy with it .

Thanks for the comments the colour is a ppg viberance range colour .Its basicly a red candy with pearls in it .The bonnet was done in black then the red candy and the car was done in a pinky red with the candy over top .

Hey guys rather new to these forums and these cars but I have just spent my spare time this week painting my R32 and thought I would post up some pics I took today . Started out looking like this on saturday Came out today like this in the booth and then outside Heres the colour in the shade It in the sun and the bonnet I still have the side skirts bumpers etc to fit up and once done I will post pics I realy enjoy doing import cars as theres a little more fredom when it comes to painting them I haven't done the front bar yet as I am putting a larger cooler up front to fill the gtr bumper hole but once thats done the car is finshed and then its time to sell this one then start another R32 more ideas I would like to use.

3k is pretty cheap I would bank on the 5k mark and anything less would be a bonus . I also guess price would be depending weather its a colour change or same colour as inside edges would need to be done if its a colour change and this is where the price would go up . Also with the body kits they take more time and a fair amount of materials .

It doesn't look like a pearl colour to me more of a solid colour but I only looked at pics of a car that colour and even though it may look like the holden colour the chances of it being the exact same colour is very slim .

Your best bet would be to post up your paint code or look in the paint code theard which is up th every top of cosmetic and styling page .

I am sorry if these questions have already been anwsered somewhere but did you do the base coat with a spray can as well or just the clear coat and what brand paint did you use and to what ratio did you thin it out at .

Hey your forsale is rather confusing peopel say its for sale and its not .The wheels in the add are different to the ones discribed .Also if the car is for sale can you please tell us where (exactly) the paint is peeling with pics if avail . Thanks

Hey looks great But I can not see if there is some damage or not Plus the pics are at night and from a desent distance . Can we please get somes pics of the car closer than 50m away and in some desent light .10.5k to spend on a car that you can not see does not sell . Sorry man but every car I look at for sale is in the dark
