Just under $30,000 it was my mates car who lives in chiba Japan. I imported it myself and have been doing this for over 15 years but have always bought toyotas [ Soarers Supras etc these are my first experiances with Stageas. Even though I love the cars I am a little bit concerned how most of them have a problem with some rust spots. When I give it its first australian wash I will take a few photos.

Yeah I have insurance but I have to pay the first $500 so I dont think its worth it. What I was wondering is do the series 2 260rs autech have a diffrent centre to a standard stagea. Not to sure about the eyelids I have to paint the front bar and I will make my mind up then about the eylids.(dont think I want them) I want the 34 gtr front just getting the pricing together now. oh and the price .... a freaking fortune thats why I had to sell my first autech.

Hi guys , I picked up my series 2 99 260RS the other day and some pricks stole the centre console part around the shifter..... it must of had a gauge or something of interest or someone working at the brisbane docks has a stagea and prefered mine to theres. Does anyone know if there was anthying of interest there because there was a lot of wires ect going nowhere. Thanks in advance. pics to follow

No worries it will be finished in a couple of days , they always do a great job and the white pearl is quite a challenge.

Its at the shop getting those spots cut out under the mirrors , every one I looked at had the same problem ! So there is no rust in it now at all. Heres some shots under the car when it was in Japan. I will have to check the ks tomorrow when I go the shop

Hi guys I am new to this site as I have allways been a Toyota man (supra) until I spent the last year in Japan and bought myself a 260RS Stagea 1997. Love the car so I just bought myself onother one a 99 260RS.............. thinking I could the whole import process on both and still have money to keep things ticking over. What a dreamer I was ..... so I am selling the 97 260RS as is and will be keeping the 99 for myself. The car is on the gold coast and any inspection is welcome, it has all the usual stuff (Ithink) RB26 brembos bbs wheels etc stock as a rock otherwise, It has a couple of bubbles of rust under the mirrors wich I am in the process of getting fixed, other than that it is an awsome car. , so without destroying the value of these cars I am willing to take a loss just on this car and sell it . I know these forums and how they work and a lot of idiots are going to get on and say what a load of crock , for that price there must be something wrong , but come out and have a look at the car your self as I said its at the gold coast and you can see for yourself.
