    I put my wheels on went to take it for a drive and the driver side was binding up :\ turned out to be surface rust on the disc and the pads stuck to it. Sorted it out and took it for a quick lap and all seems well. Its now needs a full wheel alignment due to the change of tie rod ends and new bushes in the arms but it definitely feels nicer GREAT SUCCESS

    Yea that thought did cross my mind, as well as dropping it somewhere. Buuut I don't mind getting my hands dirty and learning while I'm at it, and as you know money isnt as free flowing as I'd like ATM the boot was an eBay job, and less then half the price of genuine and came with a whole lot of grease. So basically it was my time and $20 bucks

    Pulled the left front driveshaft out today. I had a split boot It was so badly split I decided to rebuild the outer CV. Pulled it all apart (6 ball bearings, star wheel and case) cleaned them all out and regreased. Ran outta light, but only have to re attached the caliper and throw on the wheel and then it's back on its wheels

    I think my younger brother is starting to look into buying a GTR, R32 of course. This makes me excited. Pretty sure he is gonna look at his finances to see if needs to sell his Audi or keep it as a daily. Then to find one here or import, after Dan's case I'm a little worried

    Thanks for that I have always used the autobahn jobbies, but only ever got metallic. The first can was great, the nozzle sprayed beautifully, the second can (months and months later) was terrible. The colour was good but sprayed like white. I swapped the nozzels and then it was sweet.

    Haha engineering at its best Its pretty filthy but cleaned of pretty easily, I'm going to get a pressure pack made up and touch it all up if the rain holds out next week, fingers crossed. I got the passenger side off, the sikaflex was it better condition so it was a little more painful. I couldn't get the passenger side control arm on before the rain hit though

    Fitted the drivers side control finally Started removing side skirts, I have a set of standard GTR ones coming This little screw was inside the back of the door jam Now for the removal and to look at all the gunge lol I'm very excited to see no bodgy repairs done to the side. I have seen some build threads where they weren't so lucky.
