Well it’s a sad day for me but a golden opportunity for someone looking for a tough RB. I have bought another shed ornament so I’m parting out my R32.4 Fully built RB26 CP Pistons 40 thou over size Eagle rods 8.9:1 compression ACL Race bearings ARP head studs Custom sump approximately 7-8 litres with Tomei oil baffle Moroso external oil pump ATI harmonic balancer Grout filled block up to the welsh plugs Ported head. Large exhaust and a bit smaller on the inlet to keep response 1mm oversize Brian Crower valves Supertech double springs 90 pound Bronze valve guides CNC multi-angle valve seats Cams inlet 264⁰-10mm lift and exhaust 272⁰-10 lift Adjustable cam gears. 10⁰ on the inlet gave 500rpm extra response Non genuine Mines style cam cover baffles Dash 12 fitting on cam covers Cam covers, coil pack covers and plenum all painter 2 pack metallic blue 880 cc injectors New coil pack wiring loom from Wiring Specialities. Only ever run E85 Produced 550 rwhp but mechanically built for 800+ rwhp all day Changed oil every 3 events maximum and it was always clean when changed. Always ran about 85⁰c. Can have engine running and able to do compression test but the car can’t be driven $7k ono. I’m motivated to sell but will ignore idiots! RB25 6 Boost manifold and Garrett GT35R GCG core steel bearing cage instead of the plastic standard cage turbo with braded lines. $2k RB26 Apexi Power FC with hand controller, two air flow meters, y pipe, 2 big pod filters and all the silicon joiners. Wiring loom to suit r32 with mil spec round connector at the firewall. $800 ono. Or take the engine, hot side and ECU for the a drop in package that puts you in the 500+hp club for $9k!! So the RB26 has just had a birthday! my aim was for a strong reliable motor with more response and extra power if possible without losing response. Cams 264 10.0 Inlet, 272 10.0 Exhaust 40 thou over forged CP pistons and Eagle rods Ported head with 1mm oversize Brian Crower valves Supertech double 90lb springs 8.9:1 compression adjustable cam gears (which have been set) Externally everything is the same pretty much. Green lines on the dyno sheet are last tune and the blue line was after the build. -
As the title says I am looking for an ATI balancer preferably the 1000hp one but I will consider the 500hp also. Not on SAU a lot so call or text 0414 236 724 if you have one to offer.

I have a spare RB26 head for sale. It is all standard and in good condition. No covers included. Been sitting on the shelf for a while as a spare but I could use the money so its up for sale. Guys found this v spec r32 Gtr for sale. Price is good at the moment so I think I will try to go have a look and see what it's like. Can anyone tell me how to ensure it is a v spec? Well I finally got the new engine tuned. Had all of the usual hassles. Wiring drama that stoped it running up under load and sprayed two types of fluids all over the dyno room. Big thanks to Brad at Turning Point Technology. Long story but had to take my car 4 hours north to Hervey Bay to get it tuned due to eveyone being so busy with powertune coming up. Any body in the Wide Bay region I suggest going to see Brad for any tuning work. The guy put in so much work to get it absolutly perfect. He also rang, text and emailed me the whole tiime he was doing the car. he also took the time to explain a lot about what he was doing and why. Now for the good stuff. I ended up with a very safe 485 hp. I will post the dyno sheet when i next get a chance. On full boost by 4300 rpm. very happy with the results.

Guys in need some help. Recently transplanted an RB26 with an Apexi Power FC into my R32 GTST. Should be just about ready to hit the track again. Put it on the dyno and under load it stalls. We put the oscilloscope on the injectors and found: roughly 12 volts as normal with the switching going to ground at even increments as soon as we start to ramp it up there seems to be a little variation in the 12 volts and the switching down to ground stops happening and of course then it stalls I have sent the ECU away for a repair and they tell me the ECU is in good condition. i have used a GTR wiring loom and am still running the resistors. Anyone seen this before? Ideas on where to start? Any help will be appreciated. Kirk

Thanks for that. That's exactly what my mate said. I have the wheels but may go wider again in the future. At max diameter now though as 18" is as big as you want to go for slicks.

Can't decide yet what to paint it. As Alex said it needs to be easy to patch up as I'm not much of a painter. Will be something basic, non metalic but still has to stand out. A racecar should attract attention!! I welcome anyone to offer some ideas for me? I can already rule out orange thought. Just dont like it in cars.

Think you better stay longer if you want it finished before you get back. Busy weekend this weekend but hopefully have engine in at least. Motor and box is pretty much ready to drop in now but everthing i do i find something else that doesn't fit or work or needs replacing!! just goto keep chipping away at it.

OK guys I am looking for some advice. I have an R32 GTST that is for the track only. I am fitting a full fiberglass body kit. Its one of those R324 kits. My issue is the rear guards. I have taken the bodykit to allow more rubber and hopfully reduce weight. My original thought was to remove as much of the outer and inner guards as possible to reduce weight and just leave enough to mount the new guard. Then a mate of mine said he thought that may weaken the car and only take enough out to fit the tyres. Question, cut it all out or leave it behind?
