  1. anyone know if it would be possible to squeeze these onto a R32 gtst?
  2. anyone one know how soft these tyres are? i am looking for something for track days only. no road legal requirement.
  3. do you still have the Dunlop Formula R DO1J semi slicks? I need a set of semis to get my car on the track. i am in brisbane so pickup is no problem. best to call or text 0414 236 724 as i am not on skylines a lot.
  4. sounds to me like there isn't a bad semi. for my case i haven't driven the car more than around the block as is isn't registered and i am looking to do my first track day early next year so value for money is probably my best pick.
  5. Yeah they were from St George. checked online again today and they are only listing one size now. 225-40-18 $1450 a set. they also are advertising Falken RT615 in various sizes. they are even cheaper.
  6. TOYO R888 SEMI SLICK is what is advertised. They don't say what compound.
  7. Guys, After some opinions on semi slicks. I am going to start running Sprints at QR/Lakeside next year in a R32 GTST. It will be fairly basic just stripped out to reduce weight and a little extra power over standard. I will run 16" standard rims but will spend some dollars on semi-slicks. I spoke to the Dunlop guy at QR on the weekend and he said about $400 per tyre. I think it is about the same for Bridgestones. I have seen some Toyos on Ebay for around $260. So the question is how much difference is there in brands assuming all are semi slicks with same sizes? I can understand that spending big dollars to gain an extra few percent if trying to run at the front of the field but I think I am a bit off that. Anybody got any other suggestions?
  8. Channel 7 has done a terrible job all round since they got the V8s. on the weekend we were counting and some times there were only 4 laps between ads and that was full speed race laps. also when the AFL is on the coverage gets ditched for it! bring back channel 10. channel 7 had the touring cars for years and did nothing with it and channel 10 put a lot into the sport and helped to give it the exposure it has now.
  9. Guys, when removing the carbon canister do you just block the outlets or do they need to be reconnected somewhere
