thedirtiesttwo club would state that all 32s are dirty.. the dirtiest thing about mine is it backfires and scares small kids LOL just something easy for people to remember.. R32SKYLINECLUB.COM R32Owners Club is for VW's so I didn't want them to crack the shits, I know there is R31skylineclub.com but I didnt choose the name because of them, It just describes the car. for now it will be WA Based in regards to events ect... overtime once I get to know most of you, responsible people who are willing will be chosen to be organizers of events in your state. But Nothing stopping those wanting to just organise R32 cruises or even all-round skyline cruises for that matter on the forum:) I don't EXPECT for it to do well but I think its worth seeing how it goes.

Wanting To Convert My R31 To Manual And Need A Hand !
BANGN replied to kayR31's topic in Western Australia
3 - 4 K??? lol drug money anyone? what motor have you got in your 31? just a 30 NA? if so might be more worthwhile to save your coin and get a RB20DET and Gearbox done at the same time, this is providing you want to make it fast otherwise you wouldnt be converting it to manual i spose -
Well I registered the domain last night stay tuned over next couple of weeks whilst I develop the site and host it up
-
exactly.. telling them she has been working for over a year will most likely backfire when it comes to prove pay slips I have been using westpac for years and are very easy to deal with. however commonwealth usually will hand out more money then what westpac would. I have two personal loans with commonwealth for this reason

ditto ^ get the 45V1 if you can, the 45V3 is quite laggy in comparison, definatly dont get one with an OP6 rear housing either... VERY LAGGY! 45V1 is quite good I find, very similar spool up time in comparison to the 16V as the exhaust housing is pretty much the same size.
-
I think you will find one of those clips have popped out and moving around in your housing, as it should "click" when pivoted side to side, I did notice with mine that it only clicked one way, and had my suspicion when the clip wasnt correctly located when opening the housing up.. Also good to check if the little plastic tabs are worn which roll side to side in the clip.

Skyline Drivers Losers?
BANGN replied to nickandsarah_83's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I cant see the point in racing on the street... Its stupid. putting people to shame gets boring after a while. I allways wave to skyline drivers.. to this day I have never got a thumbs up. The closest thing was a kid came up to me the other day in coles car park and said "nice ride dude" which I appreciated you skyline drivers are tight asses with your kudos -
^ ditto, its only a flat peice of like 2mm rubber at the end of the day cut to shape, imo no point paying genuine nissan prices for that when you could buy a meter of it for dick all!, just trace around your old ones onto the new rubber and cut it. I would say no to silicone as at least with rubber you can still remove your spoiler without damaging anything

Defected Saturday Night (sydney) 7/11/09
BANGN replied to phrensta's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
wot the f**k! "low beam cancels when high beam turns on (anyone know if that really is a defect?)" heaps of cars do this! Even my Mk4 Golf did it! "Battery in rear not vented to atmosphere" you are aloud one in the rear but it has to be a sealed battery or as he said, has to be able to vent to atmos if it has removable plugs -
I was more refuring to the shape of the car, but thats ok I know what you ment. well I might look at doing something in the next week or two then
-
I respect your input Terry, I'm sure you agree that just because a model isn't being made anymore does not mean its going to be forgotten or people are going to stop playing with them Nor enjoy them. Yes SAU has a HUGE number of people,. Imo its pretty hard to get to know everyone here because there is such a large number of people. I see it would be another place for 32 owners to mingle into a smaller community which to me is more personal and do writeups about there cars, & would mean alot easier to find parts rather than having to sift through pages of 33, 34, 31 threads not to many 32 owners putting in interest on the topic tho LOL
-
certainly does! Technically you are not aloud to drive the car once it hits WA Soil without a permit, Its a load of bollocks imo.. I have always just driven the car.. i mean ffs its got plates on it! you will be required to take it over the pits. Unless its mickey mouse they will most defiantly find something that needs doing on it before it can be licenced, you will also need to pay the vehicle transfer stamp duty, 6 months rego and the pit inspection at the same time if you get it over in one shot. what are you buying?

I hear hes made a new one? LOL

Second Attempt At Setting Up Boost Controller...
BANGN replied to XxNinjaxX's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
you just want it to be between the boost feed and the wastegate actuator, anything else in the loop after the boost controller will just bypass it -
well you guys get a club!

I have a strange one, dont know if this is related or not.. My aircon is normally very cold, so cold you normally have to turn it off. Other day I noticed it suddenly just started blowing regular temp air.. then after about 20 min of driving I got my cold air back. Parked the car up, got back in and air was cold.. then went to normal air about 10 min later... then within 5 minutes it went back to cold again and has been fine since...

Hi there For some time now I have been contemplating starting up a car club for Owners of R32 Skylines. Reason being Is I believe the 32 is a pretty special car, its a bit of a skyline classic in my eyes.. like the HR31. Not looking to cut anyones grass here, just think it would be great to have a community of dedicated 32 owners keen on your thoughts
-
My last 32 had a problem with the passenger power window switch and so did the current one I have now.. I have also noticed a few people chasing them because theirs doesnt work. I Might have a simple solution for you. *Pull the switch out of the door *Unpick the tabs on the backside to pull the cover off the wiring into the switch *Unpick the tabs to seperate the bottom half of the switch from the main body. you should have something that looks like this now Take those two metal clips out and sand back the contacting points on the body and the clips so when it swings side to side it makes electrical contact against both ends. make sure you clean up the contacting points WELL! even the little dimple in the clips. re-assemble and align the switch back up to the centre of the metal clips and try it out. It fixed mine! There is no circuit boards in there so its not complicated on how it works

thread no longer required, ended up stripping apart and loading the bearing up with a 15 thou shim which was enough to take out the slack for future reference for others the are genuine only knuckle assy which was around 400rrp - the bearing is very special.
-
See pic: Was keen to know if the bearings in the steering pivot are replaceable? Mine has a slight amount of play, going over the pits so no point even taking it over till this is rectified as the wheel has a slight rock in it . if so do you knock the cap off the top? I didn't want to get to involved as I wasn't sure if it is even repairable or if its a complete new assy.
-
R32 gtst front wheel bearings do you do them from the rear of the stub axle or the front? are they a press in type bearing?
-
f**k that ^ good way to strip the clear/paint use a product called "de-solv it" you can get from bunnings/mitre 10 ect to get rid of adhesive and polish to finish
-
As topic suggests.. Will a R32 GTST factory bumper fit on an R32 GTR front bumper reo (the metal bracket) I wanted to be able to have a factory cut out in the bracket for the intercooler so there is no chopping
-
even tho you have "checked" your intercooler piping.. seriously go to EVERY join and try and seperate with your hands to make sure its not just floating in a hose/clamp i cant stress enough that you check this very well.. not just a check over.
