  5. ALL BOOKED AND SET!!!!!! at least 6 cars turn up we get at $66 per car. you get: 3 pulls each printout with air fuel ratios, boost, etc. Be at Street Torque about 5:30, no later than 6pm on Saturday!!!!
  6. Something smells!!!
  7. There's a few threads on this already which are worth searching for. Depends how old you are but that's not too bad if your young. I'm 30 and mine is $1500 (i think) full comp. at justcars. shop around and bargain if possible.
  8. OK, Should be good for Saturay night, waiting for him to call back to finalize numbers and price and time. 6pm start??? what you think?
  9. Pinky!!!! Where you been all my life!!! Want a run on the dyno Sat night...?
  10. AHHHHHH,, BOW TO THE MIGHTY BLUES!!!!
  11. He's already running above stock boost!!! 10psi I think.. Don't want to go much higher on stock turbo!!
  12. So it's in the wrong section, get over it! We all stuff up sometimes... and the meaning was clearly stated at the start.. What colour do you like??? anyway, Midnight Purple rocks....love how it changes to an almost terracotta/brownish colour in the right light... there's like 10 different colours in it!
  13. Damn man, that really sux!!!!!! Sometimes roads turn to ice and there's just no stopping, no matter how slow you are...... really suck cos I know JC has really high excess!>... Depending on what needs repairs, might be better not making a claim and just paying for the repairs. It might affect No claim bonus or increase you premium for a while. just things to consider before finalising the claim..
  14. I think you should always get it checked out by a mechanic that knows about them. Don't just get a mate to check it if they don't know about skylines. take it to a performance mechanic. To my knowledge they are usually pretty reliable if looked after, also depends on what mods are done and how the previous owner looked after it. That said it is a car and cars break down!! Good luck with it, hope it treats you well!....
  15. Temperature can also play a factor in your differences. i had the same issue a month or two ago and finally found a small nail in the tyre. repaired for $30.
  16. Interested so far: James (Me) Ozzy Ozzy Fab Leigh Hypa13 Stephan -- RX7 maybe.
  17. I'd really like to know if this is possible, as it is what I want to do with mine. but from the searching I've done it seems the stock solenoid has a max boost of 8psi, so putting anything more than that into it will become pointless as it would reduce it anyway....(i think! i hope I'm wrong!) Installed my turbotech controller today, very easy to do thanks to the great threads here!!! The only problem is that when i put my foot down, boost comes up to about 10 psi then drops to about 9 and settles in the middle. it is solid after this without change...Is this a sign of a leak somewhere or what?? Aside from that, boost comes on noticably quicker but I don't know if it feels like more boost or not, though I haven't been too hard on it yet.. Here's a pic to show it is installed correctly.
