  1. I have 15m (i think) network cable between mine on oposite sides of the room, works no problem.. If it makes any difference i have 1500 ADSL. Hope the move went well, its warming up now so don't get the chilly feet!!!!
  2. phee get back in your box!!
  3. semi-automatic can also be known as Selectronic or Tip tronic. It has no clutch and is basically an auto but you have the option to switch to "manual mode" up change the gears up or down (+ or -) Google it in images and you will get some pics. Had it in my old car and didn't really like it as you still get the lag in gear changes, just means you can hold in gear as long as you choose but still have the option of an auto car.
  4. Hi jaqule, Thanks for the invite..Myself and the guys here would love to get up there for a drift with you,,,,but easier said than done. This ones a bit soon but I'll try for a later one..See how it goes!! If your ever down here look me up..
  5. Hey, Nice Car! I like the rear, it makes it that bit more unique.. I recently bought a 1998 R33 GTST 40th Anniversary in Midnight Purple! Yeah the one in my signature. I paid $16k for it. It is mostly stock, only new exhaust in January, GReddy timer, 350z 18" rims which I think look better than they do on the Z!, and Pioneer Head unit, maybe some other bits. When deciding what to buy there was way too many to look at and choose from, so to narrow my selection I decided I did not want anything white or black, rims no bigger than 18's as tyres get pretty pricey. I wanted the R34 as I like the kit on them but this 33 was close enough. I only looked at cars 1997 or later, the most I wanted to pay was $19k, Had to be manual, preferably with sunroof but I went without one. Some of my specifics are a bit ifish but I had to draw the line somewhere. Some times I think maybe I should have broadend my my search a bit more but I probably still wouldn't have decided on one..LOL Good luck with the sale and I hope you get what your asking. If you drop the price I wouldn't drop it too much, seems reasonable, unless you want a really quick sale.. anomaly---If your planning on doing it up more yourself I'd keep looking, this one does seem a good deal for what its got and low kms- much cheaper that doing it all yourself..but it's up to your personal taste. I spent a good 6-8 weeks researching and pricing to find the one that suited my needs.
  6. Hey markimak, and the rest of Qld.!!

  11. Thanks Guys!!! Too bad, Keep looking you'll find what you're after..Are you looking only in Darwin or Aus wide?
  12. OK! Thanks mate, How's the weather up there at the moment, must be just about perfect.....Still bloody cold here at night but the days are sweet..
  13. Ask me in a couple o months when it warms up a bit more, just got my first turbo recently so will wait and see. that 's why I need to get a intercooler quick smart too! From what other guy's have said, not too bad so long as you look after them..What brand of intercooler would you say is the most effective yet not overly expensive..I guess mid range ..ish?
  14. Hey Zac, Hope the pulsar treats you well, I was considering one couple of years back but went with a Mazda MX6 instead.. The Intercooler.....What brand would you recommend, Don't want to spend too much but REALLY don't want a shitty one as it gets pretty hot here in summer, and where to get it from. I will need to ship it up here too, will probably have a mate install it for me and another mate Dyno tune it afterwards. Any recommendations on size or anything else I need to consider? Thanks for any help/advice offered!.
  15. Yeah, Well, not much has been happening round here but were trying to get things going. Seems that just as many people out of NT post here as those from NT. Which can be very helpful. Very few from Alice which is a bit disapointing! I am gunna keep coming back!!

  17. Zaco- Yeah, we can only but try to get people to post more often. You ever come down to Alice? Pig- Don't know what Darwin is like but Alice really sux for anything performance. Seems like Melbourne is the go. Have seen a few websites which look ok but never actually used any. Where are you? Can recommend panel beater's in Alice but it really depends on the actual person doing the work, ie. Not an apprentice. I am looking for an Intercooler soon if anyone can help me with that. I have an R33 GTS-T 40th Anniversary 1998.
  18. Hi Jason I'd be happy to help with your project, maybe you could teach me a bit about multimedia.. I have recently bought a 98 R33 GTST. The midnight purple one if you've seen it. I know beau too and would love for the drift club to get going, don't know if I can afford the tyres and maintenance though. Don't know about getting a skyline in Alice. Best bet is www.carsales.com.au and transport it up here. Allow about $900 - $1300 for transport. I have bought 3 cars via carsales and been very happy with them all. Just make sure you do the research and get the car inspected first. If it's your first car I'd recomend a non-turbo to get used to the feel and the power. For under 10k you will get a resonable car. Save hard it's well worth it!!! Cheers!! R3380Y--Are you in Alice? Been here? or just browsing all over?
  19. Me too.. Anyone still here?
  20. Calling all import drivers in Alice.!! I would like to meet up with you and maybe organise a group drive.. Maybe to Kulgera or any of the Gaps for a BBQ..Whatever!! Let me know if you interested.. Wave if you see me driving around in my new R33 GTST!!!
  21. Hey, I am new here and maybe if this thread goes to the top I can find some ppl in the NT, I 'm in Alice and want to meet more ppl with nice cars. I have a R33 GTST on its way here.
  22. Hey, I just signed up as this seems to be one of the best sites for anythin skyline. I'm in Alice, anyone else??? want to try to catch up with some other mod car drivers. I am about to buy a 98 R33 from Melboune but don't know the best/cheapest way to get it here. Anyone got any ideas? best deal I found so far Costs $1300 to truck it up.. Also any ideas on insurance?
