  1. at least he told us what car it is. I'm pretty sure its a hole in the exhaust... Gunna need new brakes to fix that.
  2. thats going to be more the individual staff member rather than the shop on a whole, ask them to repair the damage they caused. Even a recommended shop may put on a new apprentice who chips your rim.
  3. Awesome man, great thread and writing it up well, Keen to follow Looks like a nice example. I am in a similar mind set, have had my 33 for 2 years now and still happy with 180rwkw, mostly stock and trouble free. Would like more, but cost to do it properly and then deal with the extra defectability, I'm not too fussed. I enjoy the car as it is, it does everything i want it to. An alternative to a MBC is just to get a wastegate actuator from an R32 to put in (its 10psi), no need for any boost controller then so you wont get defected if cops look under the hood. If you want to catch up for a chat and some pics and a cruise whatever let me know. Always good to meet fellow enthusiasts.
  4. Just car gave me first option to buy back my car after paying me out for it. Even deducted the buyback amount from the payout. So they do do it. However this was an instant thing not some time after the event. In your case it would be more work for them to sell to you than just let it go in the normal process since your policy is long terminated
  5. Fwiw I use bendix HD and they rarely make a sound and not very dusty. So I think a better street option. Not as good for track though
  6. Did you try searching? Found this guide in about 5 seconds. And I am sure there are plenty more available. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253097-how-to-bosch-040-fuel-pump-in-r33-skyline-si-sii/
  7. If it was 'tuned' it wasn't stock. And some rare times there's no issue but usually over 12 it will run like poo or blow the stock turbo
  8. Karu it doesn't matter because you won't use the solenoid at all once you install a boost controller. And with stock ecu and turbo do NOT run over 12 psi, naybe even 10 depending on your car.
  9. Padonkadonk
  10. there's always a little modification for a good fitment =P
  11. That amount of driving will not get any charge into it at all.
  12. Hi, just do a search mate, there is a wealth of information telling you everything you need to know. learning to search properly and doing some genuine study will be invaluable to you. Sometimes searching on google works better than the search bar here though. Welcome to the skyline community. We always love pics
  13. a) Thats not the car you own, so check out what you really have. b) Do a search. c) You probably wont get any cheaper if anyone else at all. d) There's a lot of different factors which influence the cost, so we could not really say what is expensive for your situation.
  14. Hi mate, Welcome to SAU, seems we are getting quite the international reputation =) Nice Stag, any mods yet? plans for it?
