  1. Really? Soup and Rubber?? That's a new recipe for sure!! hahaha
  2. Supposedly... but in reality they don't actually limit to that speed quite often. (at least that was the case back in the 90's) My old 33 was limited at 192 kph. I recall reading about numerous types of jap cars 'limited' to 180, but when people actually bought and tested them they exceeded 180.
  3. Presumably you're talking about a 33.. 14 is too high for the stock ecu, likely will blow the stock turbo pretty quick too. In stock form anything over 12 is pushing your luck. 10 is generally about as high as safe levels go. each car will vary in exact levels before its starts to fail. Whoever told you 14 is a cowboy and you should disregard everything they have ever said. unless you want to just crank shit up till it blows and have your car off the road more often than on it. Anyway, you have a lot of researching to do, so get to it =) its all here on SAU. Reading a few threads would have told you all this =)
  4. Did not know that was a thing! Yeah looks the goods =) Have you been able to meet up with a few of the guys yet? or go to a meet, I see theres been a couple recently
  5. you should post this again somewhere, the more the merrier!! umm, put thinner spacers on..... or get a steel bar put it up the gap above the tyre and roll the car back and forth a few times while someone stands on it. attack them with a guard roller.
  6. Treat it like a private sale from a mates mate who you know is dodgy. Came in with 110k now has 107k, might have done another 50k or more in the mean time..... Expect no warranty or guarantee or follow up support. Check the car out, have it thoroughly inspected by your chosen mechanic. If your still happy with the negotiated price, buy it and be happy, and deal with any problems that arise like you would if it was a private sale.
  7. You know he'll want $200 postage don't you. ...
