  1. I'll be ready to show off some rotor power !
  2. YAY ! Got the Cosmo back today. It's running a very safe run in tune and RPM is limited to 4500 - I don't think they trust me - ha ha ha First thing I noticed was that it was way louder than it was before - all the twin turbo junk off and with the nice big single, free flowing dump etc makes a hell of a difference. Before - it sounded like a straight six - now it sounds like a rotor. Bigger ports helps too. Its sounds tuff - Nice. The boys at Race Solutions & Hit Man did a fantastic job - they wouldn't let me take it until everything was just right. And Nick (Blitz) - guess what the wastegate dumps to ------- did someone say screamer ??? Had a small problem with the Bosche 044 - doesn't go in the tank - it's an external one - my bad. Not to worry - the boys are ging to knock up a dual Walbro in tank system. I don't need the extra fuel yet. This will happen after its run in and gets a final tune. Boost is limited to 5 PSI at the moment - and I get that at 2500RPM Very happy with the result and will be even more happy in a couple of weeks
  3. Might come and check this out. Maybe even enter the Cosmo
  4. Righto mate - good luck with it !
  5. Picking my car and the housing up tomorrow - so I'll be able to tell you what the 1.0 p/n is - and measurements - Did you get the Garrett 1.0 housing ?
  6. Yeah yeah - Shut up !
  7. Car started today - no issues at all. According to Race Solutions it sounds 'tough' Matt has tuned it - run in tune - no idea if they have put it on the dyno - I expect not, until it has been run in and proper tune. Maroun is finishing off the air box and I pick up tomorrow ! Yay !
  8. Hmmmm - can't find the HKS part numbers - someone here will know - DiscoPotatoehead will You got PM re the 1.0
  9. I know - they are sooo cheap now - I can't beleive that they are so hard to sell that the price has come down that much. Doesn't bother me cause I am keeping my baby for ever. You know - the early Cosmos - the 12A ones - are fetching BIG $$$ now - Hoopefully in 20 years time mine will be worth a bit .... ha ha ha !
  10. Most expensice car Mazda ever developed (I think it still is) AUD$110,000 in 1990. Very luxo. I'll be at the Pizza cruise for all to enjoy - including myself :)
  11. See the part number stamped on the exh housing - close to the CHRA (centre) - that should tell you the AR ! PS - if you want a 1.00 AR HKS housing - mine is for sale - I went up to a 1.32.
  12. I have an HKS T04Z with a 1.00 ar rear housing - the housing will have HKS stamped on it - along with the AR. I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

  17. In a standard piston engine (an Otto or Diesel engine), displacement is calculated by multiplying the number of cylinders in the engine with the area of a piston and the length of the stroke. With circular pistons, displacement can be calculated from the bore diameter and stroke using the following formula: displacement = pi /4 * bore^2 * stroke * number of cylinders Displacement in a Wankel engine is much more complicated. For instance,Mazda's 13B is a two-rotor engine with combustion chambers of roughly 0.65 liters in displacement (difference in max vs. min combustion chamber volume). At 100% volumetric efficiency, 0.65 liter per rotor face * 3 faces per rotor * 2 rotors gives a total displacement of 3.9 liters. It takes 3 rotations of the eccentric shaft to complete one engine cycle, however. In 2 rotations of the eccentric shaft, comparable to 2 crankshaft rotations on a 4-stroke piston engine, the 13B would displace 2.6 liters. Mazda advertises the 13B as a 1.3 liter engine, which is the volume displaced during a single rotation of the eccentric shaft.
  18. Thanks Shell - feeling loved again
  19. I'm feeling un-loved, un-important and un-worthy :-(
  20. ^^^ yep that's it 654cc x 3 rotors = 1962cc
  21. 1 week to go I have a woody !
  22. For sale is my 4bie - Nothing wrong with it - just want the $$ to buy a new toy (small sports car) Asking $10K on CarTrader & CarSales & E-bay - but will sell for considerably less for a quick sale - (have spend like $17K on this car all up) - I imported the car from Japan a couple of years ago with 60,000kms (log books) it still had the plastic on the door trims. This NG Pajero is a long wheel base 7-8 seater. It has a genuine 83,XXX kms and has just been professionally & legally fitted with an LPG injection system which gives 20% more power and 20% better economy. You can run on diesel & LPG OR just diesel only. See power graph in photos. The car is in excellent condition with NO rust at all. It comes with 31" tyres and flared guards. Tough Dog suspension (springs, torsion bars and shocks) are fitted to all corners with a lift of about 2". Hayman Reese towbar. Driving Lights, Bull Bar, Rhino roof racks with luggage tray. Interior is perfect. Icom UHF CB radio is fitted. The car has a dual battery system & 600W inverter. Custom rear shelf houses a 12" 1000W JBL Sub woofer. 4 x Jaycar slpits and a Pioneer head unit compliment a massive 6 channel JBL amplifier. Seat 6-8 have been removed from the rear, but come with the car and are easily installed. New brake pads were fitted < 5000 kms ago. Car comes with 2 spare wheels and tyres with good 31s fitted. Also comes with 2 spare wheels (no typres). This Pajero is superb to drive. It has everything you need for 4WDriving and Camping - nothing to spend - Car has just been regoed (NSW) - 11 months remaining. Always serviced and has original log books showing regular servicing every 5000 kms.
