I think that's that GPS antenna..... Have they done anything to the car yet ??? Prolly not - they seem pretty busy.

Jumbo - had a big think about it - and I will have the TX3 turbo project for the manual fun ! So sticking with the auto onthe Cozzy now !

Not sure on the details mate - but Maroun from Race Solutions has a mate that has done many 300ZX boxes - I think he said that they are Jatco ??? No sure but. Apparently he can set them up for the best of both worlds - Full manualised auto with steering wheel shift buttons , fast changes - And then flick a switch and can go back to the feel of std auto. 2800 or 3000 RPM stall converter means that I will have boost straight off the line. Therefor more average power to the ground than any manual. This offsets by far any drivetrain losses of the auto. I still don't quite understand how it all works in terms of the stally slipping etc - but I wil ldo some more research - As I don't like putting things in my car that I don't understand how they work - ha ha. Should be a beast with the 1.32 - Now looking at 400kw at the wheels - then more if engine re done and max the boost. fingers crossed - no b-manning ! Ye of little faith Drunkan !

Nothing on the internals yet. But when I do it won't be dramatic. SCR Seals. Maybe a mild extended port. The motor is pretty fresh - and the 20B flows heaps enought to spin the turb. So I'll just leave it for now until - (a) something breaks and ((B) fundage is a bit better. PS - 2Rismo ! I have been convinced to trick the auto. I'm sure you'll be happy about that. Cosmo's share gearboxes with Nissans ! ha ha - Same as a 300ZX. I'v e been put in touch with a place that can work magic on these things.

Problem sorted - 1.32 rear on the way !

Need help urgently ..... The 1.00 AR rear housing on the HKS T04Z is too small... I need a 1.15 or 1.32 housing from Garrett. If anyone wants to swap outright or I can buy outright - let me know ! Cheers, B-Man

Been doing the numbers and speaking to my workshop - my HKS 1.00 AR rear (exhaust) housing is a little small for my application. Since HKS don't make a bigger housing - I am prepared to A) buy outright or B) Straight swap for a Garrett 1.15 or 1.32 AR rear housing to suit a T04Z Mine comes with Genuine HKS v-band flange and clamp (Yours should come with the Garrett one if swap) Let me know Cheers, B-Man

Finally , all the parts are here and the workshop is ready ! I had a 3/4 mongrel when my Skyline went in for the works - But this is different. Learning from the past builds, parts, bits, pieces and workshops has taught me a lot. Can't say that I have it 100% perfect this time - but has to be better than the last try ! So now I have a 7/9 mongrel I'm pretty excited - 3-4 weeks I should have it back. Not going to speculate about peak and average power, but I am hoping for some good numbers ! And then some good times to back it up. Geez, I havent been to WSID for ages - Can't wait for a test run ! It's going in to Race Solutions / HitMan for the works - Maroun from RS will do all the mechanical work and fabrication - and Matt will do the Haltech install and tune ! Cheers !

My old 3040 with a smaller rear would have been perfect ! Except , I think it had a T25 flange.

I dunno Adrian - I thought about that, but..... It's not going to be purpose built for drags, and I like driving a manual bettern, and Manual Cosmo is more Unique. It's about the same cost.......

Stock ECU will still control the auto - with the Haltech controlling everything else. That is......... until the manual converion

Got the rest of the goddies today. So off the workshop tomorrow or the next day. AND - the bit that will make it go the fastest........

Nearly ready to take it into the shop. Got the HKS GT2 60 mm wastegate coming this week, plut al the turbo fittings. Already have the 1600 cc/min secondary injectors, along with the 044 pump. Sard BOV will replace the standard one Custom steampip turbo manifold being made up, along with custom dump and air intake, filter box etc. ECU will be Haltech E11V2 Should be ready to race in about 3-4 weeks ! Can't wait !

Nitrous setup is legal if the bottle is removed/disconnected.

Sorry, this is not Skyline related, but I know there are folks here that might be able to enlighten me.. I'm going to be putting an Aftermarket ECU on my KE TX3 turbo project. It's a completely DIY project (well pretty much). I''m going for a Haltech E8 or Microtech LT10S I've been reading the mauals for both and they seem very generic. I want to wire up the ECU in a direct fire, sequential configuration. However, I still don't quite understand how the ignition trigger works. I do understand that there are many ways to get igntion trigger - hall effect, magnets, crank wheel teeth, crank angle sensor. I haven't pulled the TX3 dizzy apart yet, so I don't know how it works..... But what is the best way to configure ignition trigger for my car - and generally how does it work for direct fire, sequential ?? Cheers,
