  1. Hey - Nice one - I have will be paying my deposit next week. I think I will use Geoff at Prestige cause he has imported 3 other cars for me and always does the right thing. (Not that J-SPec don'e of course)
  2. Some pics of the 6boost manifolds (different types)
  3. 6BOOST for the win !
  4. Can't blame a fella for trying
  5. OK, well - the 2407WFP is $1199 inc GST & delivery on the Dell Web site right now. My offer is $900. But can't pick it up until after 13th July (when fundage happens) - if acceptable to you Andrew.
  6. Thought of that - and would be my preference - Problem is the LCD TVs are mosty 1633 x 768 resolution (HDTV Standards I think) - the 786 is shit resolution on a 30" screen - the icons are MASSIVE. Best monitor I have seen is the Apple 30" - but yeah it's liek $4k or something. Thanks for everone's help Problem with buying a system is that you don't know what dodgy parts they put in it - Problem with building it yourself is that you have to spend heaps of time researching which bits are the best. Just like modifying a car ! ! ha ha ha ha
  7. Either Dell 24" or BenQ 24" Need mucho mucho resolution
  8. Just got a quote from PC Shop in York St. ADM3800+ Dual Core ASUS A8N-SLI-SLI-SE Main Bd 2GB Veritach RAM 300GB SATAII MSI 7600GS 256MB Video LG Burner Logitech 5.1 High end speaker system Tsunamo Black Case 430 W PSU Win XP Pro Twinhead HDTV PCI TC Card Assembly etc $1942 Is that any good ?
  9. Do you know somewhere else Adrian ? Cheers, B
  10. Thanks folks - I don't really want to build it myself - been there done that - can't be farked. Plus, it has been so long, I don't know what goes with what any more. Looking for a high end multimedia / home theatre system with like 20" LCD etc - Full system. What's better these days ? Intel Dual Core or the AMD CPUs ?? I'm moving into a smaller place so I am gonna ditch my 81cm CRT TV monster - I want to be able to run Computer & TV / DVD on the same screen etc. I configured the highest spec Dell Gamer OC and it came to like $5K - that 's with a 24" LCD screen. Adam - why not Dell ? I used Dell at Telstra (for workstations and servers) and they seemed pretty good. I understand that prices are exponential to speed/power too - so not going for top top of the range, but maybe just top of the range - to try and protect the invenstment (might get another 6 monts out of it if I spec it up a bit) Cheers all
  11. Hello Boys & Girls, B-Man needs a new PC System as the old clucker PIII is getting a bit old and haggard. So, where can you got a good high end system from ( Fast everything, big LCD monitor, etc, etc) Lemme know where the best deals are - Cause although I am in IT - I have know friggin idea where to go. I have looked on the Dell Website and they have some good gear - but surely I can get something for a bit cheaper. Cheers,
  12. I don't understand how restrive lines or bad catch can - can cause that much white smoke - I'm not saying this wasn't the case - just trying to understand the physics behind it - As I had a similar problem with my old car.
  13. Got any 2JZ stuff going cheap ??
  14. 10 hrs labour at $80 per hour ?? I reckon the 6boost ones are the shit ! Very good craftsmenship
  15. Hey - Good thread here - thanks for going to the time to put it together. I have been researching the 6boost manifold as they look the goods. The VL guys are happy with them. I tried to get in contact with the 6boost dude in qld - but no return e-mail Where did you get yours from ??
  16. That doesn't answer my question - the post read: "hollowed out cats create more back pressure than a normal cat..proven" Which is rubbish. I can prove you you that with a (brand new catco 3") cat - my skyline made 289rwkw - with a elcheapo compliance cat hollowed out - it made 330rwkw - (only under test conditions on the dyno of course).
  17. These are on e- bay now - no reserve - bid there if you are interested. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=170001854573
