  1. Nathan from Grey Imports is going to do my R32 - He did my Dad's Soarer and my Pajero too. Can't go past the quality and professionalsim of Nathan ! Cheers
  2. what is HDi pipework ?? Cheers
  3. My R32 will be ready for compliance in 2 weeks time - and I will making my Cat decision based on the the results posted - Can't wait
  4. How and where are people geting pipework done for these ?
  5. Your right - that is a shitty photo
  6. Pay the $$ to get it done properly - I did mine myself (on the old car) with a proper roller and cracked the paint (both sides). Next time I will pay a pro to do it - I have heard that heating the guard lips reduces the chance of cracking the paint.
  7. "Better" & "Fun" are very subjective words - Each to their own, I say. All Skylines are good - Hopefully there is enough info in this thread for the thread starter to make a decision
  8. I like this quote about the GTS-4 "This is certainly one of the 'cleverest' import buys on the market."
  9. Aren't links used a lot in WRXs ??? I don't think they would be that bad, if tuned by someone who knows what they are doing.
  10. Oh - and Roy - I wann buy your Wheels & Tyres - How about some jiggy jiggy luving swap ?? ha ha ha ha
  11. What is the weight difference between a GTS-t and a GTS-4 ?? (R32)
  12. You'd only do that if you your motor blew and you could get a good RB26 for cheap - otherwise an R32 GTR would be the way to go. I will have paid about $10G (on the road) for my GTS-4 (4 door, manual) by the time I get it complied and regoed - I reckon it would cost more than 6-7K for the RB26 conversion - so for the same $$ you can get a GTR. However, If you coulf get an RB26 for $2K (same price Just jap quotes for an RB20DET) and you could install it yourseld - You'd be laughing. I'd love to do it - but nowdays , I have more sense than $$
  13. Anyway - 4WD is sucha big wank you just gotta have it :)
  14. Hi Roy - you are gonna have to give me some R32 performance tips now mate.... ha ha I look at it like this - You can make a GTS-t and a GTS-4 more powerful by upping boost, etc yada yada. You can't easily change a GTS-t into an AWD car - But you can easily turn a GTS-4 into a Rearwheel drive car. You can lighten a GTS-4 by stipping down stuff A/C, Hicas, Seats, etc - If you are really serious.... I reckon (my opinion only) it wouldn't be too hard to get a GTS-4 to outhandle a GTS-t. The other advantage of a GTS-4 is that once you have flogged the crap out of the motor - just f drop in an RB26 and you have a GTR Nice.... 4 Door R32 GTR coming right up :)
  15. I've changed my mind on Microtech after it blew up a few times - PFC is the only way to go in a Skyline. I have had Stock ECU, EMS Stinger, Microtech and PFC - The PFC has been the most reliable and most drivable. With the Micrtech and a highly modded R33 GTS-t - the tuner took quite a while to get it right - With the PFC and Datalogit - Couple of hours. Now I have a 32 though - I think I will look at ar re-map (if I modify the car , which I won't)
  16. I'm gonna puke now..... Well - I am getting closer that that elusive 31. First a 33 now a 32 - Next will be a 31.
  17. pics please ??? does it have seperate or combined exh and wst pipe ?
  18. Nah mate - that is off the agenda for a few years I think....
  19. don't think so chris - but does look like it has one of those fancy schancy mutli wire earth kits - meant to be good for at least 50 rwkw
  20. Sexual purple Yeap ! I'm excited !
