Be careful with the tune - that turb will pump a whole lot of air thru and you need to give it fuel otherwise it will ping it's tits off an go bang. As an example - I am still running the 2835 tune on my car - but with the 3040 on it. If I boost even 2 PSI, my air fuel raitio goes way way lean

Fatz - that turbo is one bigger than the 3040. It's a monster. And a laggy hoe, I'd reckon. Jeez - I didn't realise the XR6 had such a big turbo - yum - I guess they are a 4 litre or whatever - so lag wouldn't be an major issue for them.

Advanced driving and eye tests etc go part of the way to solving the problem. Mal is right in that the pollies always take the easy way out. I think the basic , underlying problem is that these idiots that insist on performing imbysilic (sp) behaviour on the strees HAVE NO RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE - either theirs or others. Techncially, if Mal is right - and I'm sure he is - You can get done for a Midas Exhaust when your stock one rusts away to nothing - Just cause it is not stock. WTF ! The manufacturers should be having a field day with this one..... It's been done - I'm pretty sure a 300 ZX box bolts straight on - then you would just need the clutch pedal and hydrolics - All the mounts are there on the firewall already - Clever Nissan made a one size fit all configuration. If you did it yourself, you may get away with it for under $1K - Give it to someone else to do $1.5-$2K maybe.
