And now my HKS 3040 does 330 rwkw And - it has just been totally reconditioned with new bearing and seals etc. Is back on the car now and will get a tune (again....) after having the HKS 2835 on it Got to love the number of Turbos I have had on my car - and the number of ECUs. Let's count them for fun : Turbos : Stock, GCG Hi Flow, GCG 3040, HKS 3040, HKS 2835 ECUS: Stock, EMS Stinger, Microtech, Power FC Now I want one of those Jim Berry clutches everyone keeps talking about

  17. DezertEagle should be fine as long as you have not boosted it too hard. Run some octane booster to be safe, but drags is usually no probs, circuit racing brakes and temps go up and more need to have good car and set up. See you out there. OK I put rego on the zed but the plates don't weigh that much to worry about, and show me a registered car at the drags that runs a cat? Be interesting to run Theo and get him to disconnect his front drive shaft. Also Paul my boss never lets me go but does not stop me and you only have one kid. A cute one too. Being cheeky again if you can make it, your beast will be the king and toughest looking car there, but that's only my opinion. Plus if not aloud out too much this is the night. I hope weather will be ok.
  18. I guess it comes back to the turbo - I'm getting 330rwkw at 21PSI - Boost drops from 25 PSI (at 4000rpm) to 21 PSI. (at 6000 RPM) If I run 21 PSI base boost, I get same power - no boost drop. What my thinking was, that if I increase boost to the 25 PSI, I will see more power - but there must be some other restriciton - can could be Exhaust, W/G, Turbo, etc. Am running trust Type R Ex. W/G (45mm, 18 PSI spring pressure) and Turbosmart E-Boost - that's a pretty good combo.

I'm getting good at changing turbos All heat shielding worked a treat Tomorrow , will be changing rear shocks and installing anti HICAS bar - then will need wheel allignment. JP - will call you re: Tune - maybe Wednesday mornning ??? Might have to chuck a sickie on Wednesday hey !
