  1. I think I will start a new thread on this - as my discussion is OT !
  2. My R33 is going in to UAS for a tune with HKS2835 turbo this Friday. UAS now have the FC logit software for RB25DET Power FCs so I am very keen to see how that goes. Cheers,
  3. GTS-Vspec (Paul). DB - Do you really think it the compresor that is the limitting factor ?? I was thinking about this and if boost is going up but no more power , then doesn't this mean there is a restriction somewhere else (eg Zorst / head) - So if restriction was removed the extra boost would result in more flow ??? Just add fuel , means more power.
  4. Jono - what power you making now ?? Ummm if my memory is right (too many beers) - Ahhhh I don't even remember -----> 60rwkw is a great gain - NO A TOPS GAIN! Well done mate
  5. I think John mean't that he DIDN'T know what you are talking about..... Anyway - I bet you get it all sorted Cheers !
  6. RRR - I think you are feeling the pain of what I call - "Miscommunication when buying car parts remotely" Unfortunately it happens. What I do know is that UAS would not try to deliberately rip you off. I have delt with John and his team for quite a while know and they are all good , honest, import enthusiasts. What tends to happen is that because they are good at what they do, they are busy. When you get busy other stuff happens that distracts them. My suggestion to you would be to ring them up and explain the situation - I'm sure you will work it out if you communicate with them and they communicate with you. Cheers,
  7. 330kw at the wheels Clint (RB25). I was at a Dyno Comp recently and there was a RB30DET there with a Garret GT35 on it - Managed 319 at the wheels. Was talking to him afterwards and he says that there is more in it than that. Cheers,
  8. Spotted - "MYR33" on Pittwater Rd, Narabeen today.
  9. Here's some pics of my HKS 3040 - pulled apart, if your interested.
  10. Thanks SK - after a bit of google searching, I now know that this engine is the 1G-GTE twin-turbo - Approx 150kw. Same engine came out in some Supras and Celica's (I think) And - yeah you are right about the Skyline forum thing - I guess there is another section on SAU for this kinda stuff (too many sections now, I don't like it - too many decisions to make.. he he) Cheers,
  11. Too busy looking at the speedo
  12. I have a Fujiitsturbo cat back - 85mm, Stainless Steel, Includes resonator and muffler - very good condition. It's currently on my GTS-t. The only reason I want to sell it is because I want to go bigger. This exhaust is good for 330rwkw (What I currently have) - But we 'think' the muffler is restricting us slightly. Would never be a problem for you unless you are wanting to get more than 330rwkw. I'd need to get a new exhuast system before shipping this one though Looks like this (except only one resonator) What are you willing to pay ??
  13. More Photos here: Including the tiny bit of rust and scuff marks. http://www.itwa.com.au/modules.php?name=co...bnails&album=18 Very good condition, Very Reliable - has never, ever let me down - and goes really well too. You get lots of looks from those who know what they are looking at - And does not attract any "Blue" attention
  14. Can anyone please tell me more info on these cars ?? ie the 1989 models - 2.0L twin turbo Like this Are they 4 cylinder ?? Inline 6 or V6 ?? What sort of power do they make ? How hard or easy to get parts in Oz ?? Are they any good ?? ie Reliable ?? What is the motor ??
  15. Hey - some nice big turbos going on there. I myself would never go bigger than the HKS3040 (on a 2.5L) - having driven for the last 6 months with one - it's right at the top end for my taste in driving - Although I do like winning Dyno comps with it. At the drags, it hits so hard, its either bog down or wheel spin. But you sort of get used to it - I am still such a crap launcher. To use all that power properly at the drags, I would need to change my whole suspension setup and run drag radials for launch ability - And then, I would prolly break something else - (driveshaft, diff, gearbox) On the circuit - the only place is used all 330rwkw is down Eastern Creek straight -everywhere else I am in 3rd gear and use low boost. Anyway - each to their own. Good luck with the projects and look forward to seeing some results. BTW - Cameron - you strut brace is going to get VERY hot
  16. Bump. Price $1000.
  17. Are you selling anything ? Can you please specify ? Thanks,
  18. Bush bashing and understeer -- always gonna happen at Wakefield
  19. OMFG - that R32 is horn city. Sorry it fell through. Dude , I went permy back in May - so in the same boat, contracting gave me my engine rebuild and that's about it. Surely, you would have to agree that: 1) If you put your car into a wall on the street, you still have the risk that your insurance Co. won't cover you cause your car is not likely to be standard (ie Insurance null & void), or you were spotted being stupid (ie iF you are charged your insurance could become null and void). Even so - you are putting not only yourself but other pedestrians at risk. Silly stuff. 2) If you are worried about blowing your engine , it must have been modified in the first place (ie $$) so why not keep it stock and not worry about that sort of stuff - Majanal has done nearly 100,000 kms on his R33 - including more track & drift days that all of us put together and it still pulls like a $10 whore. 3) Taxing on the car - only of you let it - look after your car and it will be fine - or if you really want to speed fully hectic bro on the track - get a Suzuki swift GTI (5K ) for your track car and keep your Skyline for the street ( or vice versa) 4) Time off work - you get leave right - plus everyone pulls a few sickies - in addition, there are lots of trackdays on weekends 5) Hidden costs are the same as if you flog your car on the street Sorry man - like I said, there is no argument for enjoying the track legally versus risking so much (including human life) by racing/speeding on the streets.
  20. Come on Frankie - you got to do better than that mate.......
  21. Put the standard pump & old filter back in and measure the fuel rail pressure. SK is on to something here. I have an upgraded Bosche pump, standard fuel rail, standard fuel pressure regulator, 550cc injectors and 330rwkw - PLUS 300+ kms per tank.
  22. What about an Automatic Nissan Gloria ? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=49798
