  1. Sorry - you said you wanted to go bigger - must have missed that bit.
  2. Reason for sale ??? How are all the blades >? Got any close up pics ?? What's that mark on the top blade in the pic above ??
  3. Doof - This may sound harsh - But there's absolutely no point in getting all upset and resentful at Government organisations like the RTA and Police. They are just doing their job to the best of their ability - and yes, sometimes they get it wrong - and yes, it is an inconvenience. And yes, you had appointments etc - But dood - Don't you get it - no-one gives a toss - And I doubt that the ombudsmen will give a toss either. So the best advise I can give is what I already outlined. Just get on with it - the quicker you do it, the quicker you will be on the road - The more you complain about it - the longer it will take you - that's a fact ! Now - lets look at your part in all of this - Had you not been defected in the first place, none of this would have happened. So go easy mate - stop resisting - jut accept what has happened and get on with the next thing you have to do to get on the road again.
  4. Why are you getting so upset about having no plates ?? Just go to the RTA, tell them what happened - They can re-issue you with new plates. Might take 6 weeks to get them as they may have to make new ones up - In the mean time, ask for an interim set. That will get you back up and running. This is the process you would follow if your plates were stolen or damaged and you would normally need to pay for them - However, in your case, because there was an error that had nothing to do with you, and all parties acknowledge this (so you say, anyway) then they should waive any fees and charges. Good Luck
  5. I've already asked the seller if there is a number on the chra - I could have identified it myself if I had that ;-) Also - I think the CD is clser to the floor - near the exhaust housing , so the comparison might look a bit out - as the Compressor housing is closer to the camera than the CD
  6. No offense taken - but do you know what it is for sure ??
  7. Has a Front housing with AR 60 M27 is written on the front housing too Obviously it's a Garrett That's all the info I have -
  8. As stated - if you have both these items hanging around and you want to get rid of them - give me a hoy! Cheers,
  9. Which is the best panel filter you can buy ?? When I say best - I mean best flow without letting too much shit in. Forget about price - I just want to know BEST. K&N have been popular BMC advertise that V8 Supercars and F1 use them. Hven't heard much about the Apexi one - apart from that it is not oiled. Post your experiences Cheers,
  10. After GT3071R with 0.48Ar rear , 3" 4 bolt outlet, T3 flanged, external W/G Can you do ? ta
  11. Bass is for Doof Poofs ;-)
  12. Ahhh good old Herman from Envy hey - that's good to know - cheers. PS - this beast will be chirping 5th when I have finished with it..... Maybe I should use it a bit before I sell it - for a change :)
  13. 100HP is 75kw. So even if my little Fj is making 200kw at the wheels, which 100HP shot that brings it up to 275kw Which is not far from my old R33 withthe HKS3040 - and about 600kgs lighter. YES ! I'm going to get me some GAS !
  14. Last chance - had offer of $600 $625 pick up this weekend , otherwise these are as good as gone.
  15. There's one for $420 on ebay now, with no bids. I've seen them for $480 buy it now
  16. Adrian - do you know much about the new 'NOS' sniper kit for EFI ?? Damn cheap - $500 for the full kit. What's the catch ?? http://www.holley.com/07005NOS.asp
  17. "might" :-) Got to over compensate on the car to make up for my lack of driving skills.....
  18. There's a bloke in the UK running an S12 with a single cam CA18 turbo with an 80HP shot of gas. He runs consistent 12's - with everything pretty much stock. See here: http://www.aus12.org/index.php?showtopic=2715&hl= and here http://www.aus12.org/index.php?showtopic=2742&hl= Imagine a boosted FJ20ET with a 100HP shot. Might put a few skylines to shame :P
  19. Man - I want to get Nitrous just to feel that spike -
  20. Pics are in the thread "B-Man has done it again" in the NSW section.
  21. What about this - A Garrett plain bearing T04E or T04S AND Nitrous. Same cost as a GT Series Turbo :-)
  22. The car will only ever be used (driven to and from) the track or circuit. Considering the Turbo will be about $1500 and Nitrous will be about $750 The turbo won't cut circuit times that much - brakes, suspension and tyres will do that. The Nitrous could cut second(s) off 1/4 mile times. Hmmmmmmmm
  23. Fark me - T04Z would be pretty hard to spool up with my little 2 litre FJ...
  24. I can't make up my mind .... Should I get a wet nitrous kit for my FJ20ET S12 or Should I get a better turbo ?? eh GT 3071 Car has been build for Track, Drift and Drag - a combination of all three. Current turbo is a hi flow steel wheel Nissan turbo of a VL commodore - high mounted with an external wastegate Estimated power will be about 230kw at the wheels in current form. A 3071 should push that up to around the 270 mark But would love a shot of gas - just because I haven't done it before - seems like a silly reason - but I'm all for trying new things.... whadyareckon ?
