  1. +3 count me in too
  2. Its definitely cheaper from eastern states. BUT if the car is modded, you still have to get it back to stock before you can get it thru the pits. If you calculate the labour to take the aftermarket part out then put in stock parts(purchasing stock parts?) and fit it back aftermarket parts in, you still come back to the same lump sum as getting a car locally. One of my mate decided to do this, huge problem was getting the parts out. Did all the right way (He did himself to save money). When taking out parts, he broke the nuts. Then he couldnt drive the car. Got it towed to a workshop and pay alot more to get it done. End of the day, its still up to you, if you got the time and patience go ahead! Good luck.
  3. Just to add Splitfire colipack only have 12 months warranty.
  4. mine failed after 14 months. If u call up the seller/distributer they will most probally say its defective manufacturing. Been told theres 1 in 100 theres a defective batch. Also from what i have been told its not a very popular brand in Japan (dont quote me: This is what i have been told cause they do suck in Japan hence why they are pushing it overseas + the cheap price). Causing me so much headache when everyone pushes the blame around. hope that helps.
  5. +1 GTt also when u are talking about GTT, does this mean stock front bumper or it fits all aftermarket body kits?
  6. got a set of splitfires. sad to say i was the unlucky few.... dead in 14 months.... Was told there might be some defective ones ( one in hundred). So yeah....

  15. Of course I am going with a partner. Will go nuts seeing bush and red sand only! hahaha GOT A HOT CHICK TO GO WITH ME!! Got a list of all the things mention and very hardworking on doing my research. Still looking for a suitable car to be used for this journey. Any reccomendations? No V8/Turbo/Performance car. Unless it runs on AIR or SAND! Trying to keep the cost to a minimum. Thanks for all the comment and ideas.
