very curious with this topic too whats the difference between a nismo short shifter and a c's short shifter things i know: nismo 10% less throw c's 30 % less throw / shorter shift stick besides this what the difference the less throw the better?? or it doesnt reeally makes a difference.

i am running 0.85 bar(12 psi) daily.... izit bad then?? lol

same thing happen on last friday night cruise. but this was a real cop in an unmark cop car.... luckily he wasnt really speeding. What happen was my mate got lost as the cruise was heading into the hills (before the kalamunda turn), a black car suddenly tailgated him thru the hills. following him closely for about 15-20 minutes. my mate was cutting cars when he was driving thru the hills and so did the black car (thinking it was some guys from the cruise). driving around 70 -80 km/hr all the way bcos he was trying to catch up. when he left signal and slowed down for the black car to over take the black car didnt, so he continued to the kalamunda turning and he decided its was time to ask for directions. slows down n pop comes the blue n red flashing lights! WTF!for 15 or more minutes following my mate n waiting for my him to do something stupid (which he didnt except 10km above the limit). cops came down n snatch the car keys from the car. gave my mate a lecture n threatened to give him a $1000 fine plus impounding his car for 48hrs. etc etc. mate gave lame excuse was lost in the hills. but the cops were very nice that night . let my mate off plus leading him back to the main roads. phew! btw he got his car less than 48 hrs n this was the 3rd cop car that stopped him!

there are stalling issues after installing the ssqv. Only thing that is different is the backfire and the wanker noise thanks guys!

hey all i just had my ssqv installed. backfiring heaps lately. i had my safc tune b4 the ssqv was installed. do i need to retune it or it makes no diff?? n one more question. if i have a recirculation adapter for my ssqv, will there be any affect if i change between atmo n plumb back once a while. thanks! ps: if there was a topic similar, could u just post the link for me! =p many thanks again!

SIF 10 min job.... dont tell him its 10 minutes, he starts to panic after 10 minutes.... i just install it yesterday. YES i agree with you, theres a hose which is connected to your boost reading for the stock boost gauge in the car, u can just fit the ssqv in an angle around 30 degrees. you do not need to fit it in horizontally, just give it a twist b4 installing it into the current position. all you need is an adapter from ebay. works fine n quality is not bad.

i brought it to the tuners too the other day. outcome was around 280rwhp. is the avcr setting bar or psi? cos it states 0.85 on the A setting and 0.95 on B setting. basic mods = straight thru exhaust from turbo, fmic, avcr, safc2, pod filter i think tats all.

hey guys, did a search n different result came up. some thread says more than 10psi should be fine. so which is which? tuner set mine to 8.5 bar car has normal mod like straight thru exhaust avcr safc2 fmic pod filter etc. is (*edited)0.85 bar(12 psi) too high? thanks in advance!

hey guys, it feels like the usual feeling of power lost, few secs(slip light blinks a few times) and u get normal power after that. i don get this on 1st 2nd or 3rd. yeah i know at this rate of power, i shouldnt be slipping at 4th gear. most probally its the clutch. (yes, clutch is stock) BUT can anyone tell me how the clutch is affecting the traction control?? i was driving around 100km/hr at 4th gear and the light started to pop up. at first i thought it was missfiring but i have already replace the spark plugs and coilpacks recently.

slip light on the top of the tacho. the car is a r34 gtt and it comes with the tsc(traction control)

tat was what i reckon is causing the problem. but is the tsc( traction control) and the clutch related to each other??

dynoed the other day 280rwhp. tat why i am curious aswell. its not a huge power, but y the "SLIP" light keep popping up. was driving on the freeway yesterday n when i drop to 3rd & 4th, pedal down it slips. every single time.
