as topic says, looking for a place to buy my rb26dett front cut from, more than likely going to go with Just Jap at this stage, seam to be a really good deal and is only about 5 hours from where i live. i know forum rules are that you cant badmouth or activelly promote your own buisness but there is nothing againts sending me a PM if you have had a horror story from an import yard, or if you have had a great experiance and would recommend again. Also anything that i should particularly be aware of? i allready have a full timing kit, water pump and N1 oil pump ordered, and im purchasing motor without turbo as im going to run a single. Cheers

same dillema im in, im making about 340hp now but want to bump up to the 400ish mark, getting a fresh head made up for me now, changing to forward facing plenum, swapping my cam gears into the new head and looking at some 276 (or 272 cant remember) and with a tune im hopinh to make that extra 60hp im making about 18psi by about 4-4.5 with a tdo6 25g so your setup sounds a bit laggy?

so yeah after i pull 8 degrees out i check the ign moniter level and it noticibly drops and the car is more sluggish. The tune still seems to be fine. it has twin plate and a 2 way and a fair few lifters are noisy as shit.... so hoping its all good. new batch of fuel friday before i head off to sydney.

i pulled 8 degrees out of it and seen almost no change.... is it possible that my power fc has reset and lost its tune? its not boost a its only low rpm driving, reving it out its fine, nothing in the intake has changed so im leaning towards fuel

rolls im not sure what you mean so ill answer to the best of my ability in low rpms in most gears the knock is very sparatic and climbs easilly over 40, iv i labor it it goes up to 90ish, but if i drop back a gear and rev it out it stays quite low.... not sure here what to do. im about to head out so ill drop 2 degrees out of it and see how it goes, realy hoping its just bad fuel

mine never really got over 40 from what ive noticed on the hand controller, but this batch of fuel iv noticed it hit 50, 80 a couple of times and once was 92. i still have well over half a tank of fuel left tho so i cant really just change it straight up. got a 4 hour trip to do in it this weekend and and most of that fuel will still be in it... i always fill from the same bowser at the same servo, shell v-power

So a big thanks to NPC for an awesome clutch , Autosolutions and Restorations and Port Service Center for getting the car back together in time for the local car show, managed 246kw at 21psi with some strong wheelspin (dyno guys were a bit fresh, had alot of trouble tyeing it down for some reason) but i was pretty happy with that. The show however was corrupt, my car was parked next to port service centers track car (weapon) and when the judges came around they mumbled under there breath that the track car was a piece of shit, then walked around my car shook there head and walked off... bit of a disgrace really, and name and shame time, the judges were part of the local "East Coast Holdens" car club that organised the show, both of which had cars entered in the show that won trophies... hmmm Added a few things to the wish list, Harness bar, a pair of harness's and a detach steering hub would be awesome. waiting for the rest of the photos from the day, we ended up with about 6 cars and a motard under 3 big tents for port service center.
