Obviously a little more laggy on a 25, but still good for a streeter" "Then on the builders website ( which i wont say) which i recently saw, it says 305rwkw on 16psi" that was just some old threads of urs its not like the rods were shot, crank was f**ked etc... it simply looked like it had clearence issues with the pistons bigger than normal gap between the pistons and bores, and the top of the pistons has valve marks... revs were always kept to 7000 ( 500 less than u ran it as we werent sure how it all was as we didnt build it) and the cams clearly werent what were stated. in theory it did have alot of decent parts in it to easily handle alot more, but something just wasnt right with the clearences/machining. again there not things that u could just look at n see so not sayin u knew. u coulda been told something that wasnt true.

mate i never 1) said it was all ur fault 2) my car has been apart since november 2005 and i have alot of proof about that and 3) my dyno shows 299rwkw at 24psi simple like i said maybe u didnt know what the builder did coz alot of the shit was internal and obviously u cant just look and see, as alot of things on the spec list were different.

funny how all of a sudden u pop up after 100 pm' ben@ bel garage, lincoln russel and my current engine builder all inspected the motor after the 1 and only full power run on the dyno coz they suspected somethin was wrong as it only made 299rwkw on 24psi ( have dynosheet), not sayin straight up u shonked me maybe u got shonked when u built it anyways u got a pm coz i dont wanna take over this thread as its irrelevant

hey mate not sure if it helps coz i forgot the exact space but i ran a td07s with ex gate and it fit. i ran both low mount then changed to high mount. i can send pics if u like it might help might not i dunno cheers...ben.

if ur refering to my old rb25/30 that Matt sold to me im not gonna begin with the list of shit that was wrong with it, which turned into another 2 years wait building my NEW rb26/30 motor... been tryin to get in touch with him for a almost 2 years till i gave up. Decided if u want something decent and reliable then build it urself that way u know the condition and specs.. ah well lesson learned. but yeh back to topic i dunno ive heard them on rexies and dont really like it, but my mates sounds decent, very close to the cannon i got on mine. although my mates is a 3L which would give the deeper tone so not sure. personal preference. i was thinkin bout gettin one but just cant be f**ked, my cannon isnt too loud atm so id probs save the money just get a decent muffler if i were u (ashneel) Ben...

my Jim Berry clutch almost drives like stock, and its to handle 600rwhp and drags, so something of his designed for less power/harsh use would be pretty good driveability wise and not too $$$

was hoping for gtr guards but cant find any for sale except for a pair for $700 so im just gonna go back to gtst guards for 100 bucks ben...

yeh my mate has one on his 33. when its closed all u hear is engine no exhaust note, when its open it sounds great as a good jap muffler would. its good when its closed as it doesnt actually block the air off but recirculates it a few times before being let out unlike the other butterfly valves. ben...

if its legality ur worried about then yeh id not get fibreglass, but my fibreglass bonnet isnt wavey at all,

hey fishyy- piss easy mate, the lights have 2 skinny bolts and nuts. just pop them through the mesh and tighten the bolts behind it, secure as and thats it :-)

my bro inlaw got his ebc installed by a pretty well known company in bris, who connected the power to his rear windscreen wiper, so when it rained and he turned on the wiper the ebc would turn off lol had no idea what was goin on, took it back 3 times as they couldnt figure it out, obviously hes not goin back to that place. (and it wasnt godzilla for anyone tryin to guess)
