  3. dunno why everyone is going nuts at a 265 on an 8" rim. i got that on mine and they are slightly inside the rim, i got a pic which sorta shows it just CBF resizing and uploading now 215s on a 9.5" rim that looks GAY
  4. will be getting mine tuned soon although its 26/30, but from the same set ups (26/30 t04z 1.00) performed by the guys doing mine theyve seen the 1.00 t04z on 20psi at 3500-3600rpm... wont back MY car up 100% till i get the dyno done. so youd think on a 2.6L if u went the smaller housings it should be fine. hmmm

  6. i got 265/30s on my 19x8s and they sit pretty much dead on in line with the rim maybe the smallest of measurements inside the rim, i got a pic that sorta shows it the best but cbf making it smaller and uploading

  11. with about a dozen jim berry clutches in our group all decently horspowered 550rwhp + most have had 2 years of dragging and still goin strong. should we find out how many HKS etc clutches have failed, i personally know of about 10

Genuine Veiside rear bar $1890, my jetspeed VS rear bar $400. lined up perfect, stuff all preping. tough as, been hit and banged and still perfect.

  15. turbo brian- mate theres no chance in hell im paying for shithouse R&D. being sponsored previously with adidas through sport as well as nike, i can guarentee all there R&D is done in the shitter. products that last f**k all and cost a shitload to me is a rort. and give me the 2 dollar option that outlasts the originals 10 times longer. how many ppl buy a specific pair of socks coz of the exact stitching? the feel ( ie making ur feet sweat/not sweat) though is different. but i never noticed a difference at all in that department in the 15 years of sport and sponsorships. 666DAN- might be shit initially but u will notice as i have in business that people will end up realising you have the better/genuine product and in alot of the cases ( well ive experienced it) they come back to u, with pissed off stories that they should have just done it the RIGHT way the FIRST time. As mentioned earlier a few posts back, the buyer has to be sensible and to me the cost has to be JUSTIFIED, theres alot of products that are which in that case is ALWAYS ALWAYS my option, but there are also products that are in NO WAY justified ( which ive experienced) and to me its just a matter for paying for a brand name which in no way is made any better than a copy ( all probably made in the same factor anyway) for all we know some places which make brand names, keep extra on the side, put a slightly different logo on it and then charge 1/4 price, for the exact same thing
  16. just got a few pairs of socks for 2 bucks/pair, same logo as adidas, now why would i pay 15 bucks for adidas ones when theres ones exactly the same for almost nothing. what R&D for that there fkn socks, which get made in the counterfitting country anyway by some f**k all paid workers. situations like that i really dont care on buying copies, teach addidas to rip consumers off while they slave other people to make it
  17. having both although havent done the final tune with th 26/30. if u wanna go more extreme go the 26/30 ( be prepared more costs involved) for a less extreme but still great set up go the 25/30 ( mind u less extreme is nothing to be shy of, i ran 352rwkw with my 25/30) that was with some serious headwork to fit big cams, solid lifters, etc etc, where as the rb26 has the potential already there ready to go I also keep the 6 throttles, compared to a mates with almost identical set up i do find mine slightly more responsive than a massive TB.

  19. mine shot nice flames occassionaly with the high flow cat, in the 3" system, now the 4" with the big catco and of course anti lag hehehe should become a nice flame thrower, but yes definatley a cop magnet seeing flames
  20. Ive had both t67 and td07s on my 3L and they are NOTHING like a t04z. At work also have a a t67 rb25 and a t04z .84 split housing rb25. T04z's as mentioned have had heaps of success of stock capacity rb26 and rb25's. a T04z will need other parts to help it work efficiently, cams, etc etc, dont expect to just slap one on and it all works absolutley perfect, where as some of our gt35rs have worked sensational just bolted up. if the technology ur refering to by old technology is the P trim exhaust wheel, yes the new one still uses that but its been highly refined and updated they have less blades and different pitch cant tell me they are the same, to say it uses old technology would be to that they havent refined the P trim at all since the early days. it also has the same bearing system as the gt42 as mentioned 2 totally different turbos but people can have their own opinions i just go by what i have/had and experience ben...
  21. i got t04z 1.00 getting tuned next week, not a full daily so didnt bother me, but if it was pretty much everyday street dont go t04z, unless u love a super hard hit but alot later hehe t04z is in no way older technology that gt35, maybe theres confusion with the old t04e/s/r types, its an extremely quality turbo
  22. ive been to vic, nsw, and rego in qld never once got defected, been pulled over many times though. this was also on my p's as qld didnt have those rules but vic and nsw did at the time. 99% chance youll be fine and they wont bother, theres more cars they can get in sydney for alot less stuffing around.

  24. i pulled into a shop driveway off a main road once, and a lady was reversing her rav 4 out of a car spot, i left her plenty of room, she started reversing more than she needed to so i gave a quick beep just to make sure she saw me, she stopped looked around kept going, so i beeped again, she stopped looked around, and floored reverse, i couldnt reverse it onto the main road, held my hand on the horn then BANG straight into the front. to make it worse it was mums 4 day old BMW 330i lady got out didnt appologise, she said she didnt hear the horn, (had witnesses run down the street who heard it), she said her car was also damaged ( cracked numberplate frame) ( the beemer needed new bonnet, grille and front bar ( 2cm away from the xenon headlights $$$) getting each others details she looked at my licence and makes a comment " ohh red p plate i see" i said thats got fkn nothing to do with it, ur technically an experienced driver who cant hear, cant look behind, cant reverse within a decent amount of room, cant control the accelerator rang insurance explained the situation and yeh after 2 hours said its all good im not at fault. fark some ppl though, still never got an appology
