i agree that they are too similar but hey who cares as u mentioned its a cheap copy that fails all safety, which genuine decent buyers will still go for the original car. not all people can afford a bmw x5 and cant as u mentioned simply just save for one, so they opt for a cheap shitter, at the end of the day its someone who wants something that looks similar but fraction the cost we are talking china here where 80k for an x5 is out of the question what about all those kit cars, like the mr2's converted to like a ferrari testarossa, gt40 kit cars etc etc, at the end of theday its a fake and they cant exactly be showing it off/proud of it but they just want that look after reading about the lawsuits between the companies i agree, and thats a fair call with those cars which i never agreed with either.

Look at TV's i have alot of LG ones, then i have a $120 Aldi tv with some shonky brand ive never heard of which u know what, has outlasted all of my top brand TVs, its cheap as shit, probably full of the shittest materials u could ever put in them but hey it lasted longer than my $900 Sony. an old friend of mine has just finished his gtst build after 7 years, why? coz no bullshit EVERYTHING on the car is Trust items. i like brand loyalty but when it comes down to price i mix n match with local brands ( although they are still proven) and for a similar result it owes me 1/3 as much. to me $3k on a manifold is stupid and there are other local proven items which work better for 1/3rd price. ( ive had both so i can compare what i believe) Its a touchy issue that i agree in buying (majority) of genuine parts but some things you just have to be logical with. might be slightly different but i prefer helping the little guy ( not scammers, but a legit little business) rather than supporting some overly hyped Brand Name

take the bus ahhaha true... yeh a few friends of mine years ago in some serious vl's used to say the bonnet release as stuffed so they would get a $75 fine, could been alot worse with everything under the bonnet counted, but no defect. comin back from melbourne in the 33 with the mrs, got pulled over 3 times for RBT one stop had at least 2 cops, they were all grinning but the lady cop was nice and i didnt get anything. Drove my mums beemer out in town once, cops did a u turn, followed me for ages, pulled me over to ask me whos car it is. then breathe tested me, searched it etc. the day i got off my p's not even the slightest glance.

ok so i have basically the complete r33 gtr rear end minus housing, although i have kaaz center. what other parts do i need (diff wise as i have the shafts etc etc) can u put the gtr diff center into a gtst housing with all the other internal bits? or do i need all the gtr diff internal bits. not sure and wanna finish this thing asap cheers guys...ben.
