What about the wastegate actuator.Sometimes they f**kout.Long shot but on the XR6T they are known to play up when extra boost is added.

Yes the MPS mazda is front wheel drive and is boost limited in 1st and 2nd gear but get it on a roll on in 3rd gear and it will spank a WRX and hold its own with a EVO or STI.Ive seen them run high 13,s stock with wheel spin so on the roll they are fast.It even spanked the WRX around a race track.

Heavier chassis so they can carry a ton(not like a holden ute) and leaf spring rear end with solid diff housing.

Ive had mine for 3 months now and i like it alot.Very practical wagon with all the jap mod cons.The reason i bought one was it had alot to offer for the money but being a ford XR6T boy,it had a turbo donk in it.Only bum side is that power increases are not as easy as the XR6T,so no 11 sec wagon for me.LOL but all in all im very happy with the car.

So do BA/ BF falcon rims fit the stag aswell? What is a safe width to run without rolling gaurds and modifing?

Just wondering if any of the local SE Qld members know where to buy wheels from to fit my Stagea.Im looking at 19"-20" wheels.Are they the same as skyline or a they totally different.Im from the gold coast so im looking at purchasing locally.If any one has links to sites on the net to purchase,that would be great. Hey everyone.Im just starting my modding path with my STAG and would like some professional input. Now i have previously owned 2 XR6 turbos that with basic mods and a tune at 11psi made 310rwkw.Now the stagea is a different kettle of fish and im slowly reading and learning about what to do.My only concern is the turbo as they a weak point with boost so im leaning towards eventually upgrading or rebuilding the standard unit.My aim is around 230 awkw mark which is enough because i dont want to destroy the auto or running gear.So what i want to know is the HKS GT-RS turbo an overkill or do i rebuild the stock turbo? I still want it to boost reasonably early so anyone with any experience with these turbos would be appreciated. Cheers Darren

Same here.I have a XR6T ute and i weighed it at 1900kg with me in it.My mates XR6T sedan weighed in at 1870kg with him in it as well.Lucky we have 300+rwkw to get them moving
