  4. Great thats what i'm after not to worried if its the old k model, i don't realy need the coil packs but may be able to use the boost controller is it just a trim pod type? Is there much length in the harness and do you have some pics of the unit? What impeadance or size injector were u running on it. How does $750 sound? would be good if you were on tonight as i'm going to Sydney tomorrow.
  5. Want to buy a second hand haltech programable computer, if anyone can help?
  6. Wish you were closer so we could have some roll ons to compare and see if the 1.5 pounds more does much, i have a very restricted 3 1/4inch system keeps the police off my back! Is 253kph red line or just wont pull anymore?
  7. I find that 4th is the best gear that if say a monaro or WRX or 180sx trys to give you a run i'll just pull car length in 4th but i've got a speed cut. As REDBACK says anything over 10.5 psi and the car gets a slight surge due to std ECU. 10.5psi is the magic number as i've done lots of testing if anyone has questions?(REDBACK)
  8. If anyone really wants to know the market value of these REPCO are selling these items for $299 brand new obviously, so please take these threads seiously everyone i can post the cataloge if you like!
  9. How easy is this unit to set up 100% correctly, they usually have a lot of functions and the manuals are usually in Japanese? Do you know of any sites with english instructions? Does this unit have two set memories and a changing screen colour function?
  10. Well done sounds like a pretty good price! You'll have to wind it up to 15psi now and see how it goes. You may need a decent boost controller if you wish to hold it to 7000rpm thought, that is asuming you only have a bleed valve now.
  11. Ha thats alright, i spose its got to do with population density and crime rate! Just thought i'd get on to let you know its 9:47pm wednessday and i have it all boxed up and will be sending it tomorrow morning. Speek to you friday night probably.
  12. No however i do wish i had before i sent it to you, just so i could have known how fast it went, i did go once but didn't realise you needed rego papers so that was a waste of 4hours driving! Buy the way i didn't have the LT then as it has only done about 1000 km's tops!
  13. Running 12psi with a turbosmart bleed valve. The hump in the centre of the curve i was told buy Croydon's is the variable valve timing on the RB25's.
  14. Dsturb i am yet to recieve a PM on you address or payment details?
  15. Taking it out because i am over being ripped off buy car places with dyno's, even though it is now tuned, the last guys ripped me for every last cent i had, leaving me with no money to do the next mods then have to take it back to be retuned to suit, and ripped again, i could see a vicious circle starting. So i think i'm going to spend the money on a laptop so i can watch DVD's on the way to the snow!
  16. I don't think this PM thing work real well there seems to be a bit of a delay, am i right
  17. Thats funny so many people say that sort of thing but you tell me the difference between your std computer and my std computer, the japs dont retune the ECU's for them to come over hear and where realy another climate. Microtechs also have a air temp corection map which a std computer doesn't. However after a couple of weeks of driving the car and getting used to it he will be able to go to a dyno shop and tell them fine tune hear there and were ever. Ah the benifits of programability.
  18. Perfect man you got a bargan as tuning can be so expensive! The guys that tuned this are well knows on this side of the country, Croydon Autosports.
  19. So what has the car it going on got done to it?
  20. New price $1200 its got to go!
  21. Sorry didn't read you clearly there dsturbd yes the tune would be almost spot on for that aplication and im always willing to show or talk anyone throught the install tune as ive been there done that before, those mods you have done with a std computer will work perfect with the program on it. I had 187rwkw@12psi running about 11.8:1 to try and eliminate any nasty lean outs.
  22. Dsturbd would be perfect for any car but would need fine tuning for a motor other than a RB25DET although your motor isnot far from a RB25. Blitz thankyou!
  23. Mr Rb20 Its a programable computer (meaning there is no limit to what it can do) You may wish to read a few threads on programable computers.
  24. Yes you can probably but when it comes down to you'll find it costs you a lot more than that as i also could have got mine for $1395 but it ended up costing me $2300. Dont forget the expensive tuning. So tell me how long have these LT-16 been out and what close loop operation do they have?
  25. Its tempting but your probably a bit below the mark!
